Story
Apply to Adopt Me! Hi there. My name is Kace. I am a very lovable male Schnauzer mix with a sweet personality and love my people. My coat is curly and I do not shed but do need routine grooming because my undercoat can mat if not brushed regularly. I am about 1 year old, stand about 16” tall, and weigh 25 lbs. I have a high energy level and need a physically active family. I would probably do very well in agility training. I love water and enjoy getting baths. I do need some training to walk on a leash better. Most times I am good, but I still pull at times. I am a fast learner. I am good at Sit and Stay. I love to ride in the car and just sit in the passenger seat and behave well. I will load up on a golf cart easily and love to just ride around. I am crate trained and go right in my crate at night to sleep after my last outing for the night. I sleep all night but will usually bark about 7am to let you know I need to go out. I am well house trained. I need strong toys (hard rubber etc.) because I will destroy stuffed toys in a matter of minutes. I would play all day if allowed. If I have a fur sibling, he or she needs to be young, agile and love rough play since I love to wrestle and run. If you do not have a playmate for me, I need plenty of daily physical and mental activity. Unfortunately, I have chased the cat in my current home, only because I want to play with him so badly. I am not trying to be mean and am not out to harm the cat. If the home has kids, it's best if they are older as I can accidentally run into small kids and knock them over. I must have a secure fenced yard to run and play in and get some of my energy out.  If you live in the Central Florida/Orlando area and believe you have the perfect active home for Kace, please complete an app and tell us more about your family.   January 14, 2026, 11:16 am

He rides well in the car, enjoys going for walks, and gets along with dogs, cats, and children. Eboney is very energetic and would benefit from active owners to jog, etc. with him. A fenced backyard is required for this guy to romp and play in. As a Schnauzer&Standard Poodle mix, Eboney will grow into a strong, 50 lb. dog. Owners need to be up for the breed's physical and mental activity as well as regular grooming appts. Schnauzers/Standards typically have a 10-15 yr lifespan.Characterisitcs of the Schnauzer and Standard Poodle: Personality: sociable, intelligent, loyal, and protective, often making them good guard dogs. They are eager to please, making them highly trainable and good family companions.Activity level: high-energy requiring plenty of exercise and mental stimulation. Eager for all kinds of activity, and they enjoy keeping busy. Swimming is great exercise for them, and have impulse to retrieve. Throwing toys, sticks, or balls will exercise both their mind and body. They also thrive on going for jogs or long walks with their human. Grooming: regular 4-6 week grooming appts needed to maintain coat. Brush and comb a full-coated Poodle completely to the skin or the hair will mat near the roots.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.January 13, 2026, 8:09 pm
