Hi, I’m Max! 🐾💙🐶 I’m an approximately 11-week-old Terrier/Dachshund mix with a BIG personality, a whole lot of puppy energy, and absolutely NO idea that I'm supposed to be a little dog! 🤣💙 If you're looking for a tiny best friend who will keep you laughing, shower you with affection, and bring plenty of excitement into your life, I might just be your perfect boy! First things first… I may be small, but my personality is HUGE! 🐕💨 My foster calls me a little spitfire, and honestly, I think that's a pretty accurate description! I'm confident, playful, energetic, and always ready to have some fun. Whether I'm wrestling with my puppy brothers, chasing after a toy, or finding someone to play with, I'm usually right in the middle of the action! And here's something you should know about me… I'm not intimidated by the big dogs! 🤣 Not even a little! In fact, one of my favorite playmates is my foster family's Pit Bull! That's right! This tiny little guy has absolutely no problem keeping up with the big kids. My foster says I'm not afraid to let my much bigger furry friend know who's boss! What can I say? I've got a big-dog attitude in a little-dog body! 💪🐾 I get along with both big and small dogs, and I'd absolutely love having a friendly dog sibling who enjoys playing as much as I do. I'm used to being around other puppies and dogs, so having a furry playmate could be a wonderful way to keep me entertained. Now, I haven't met any cats yet, so we're not quite sure how I'd react to having a feline sibling. My foster thinks I might try to make them my newest playmate, but since I haven't been around cats, careful introductions would be important. And while I LOVE playing, there's another side to me that you should know about… I'm also a TOTAL cuddle bug! 🥹💙 That's right! After all my adventures, wrestling matches, and puppy shenanigans, I absolutely love getting attention and affection from my humans. My foster says I'm a sweet, loving little boy who enjoys cuddles just as much as he enjoys playtime. I might spend one minute acting like the toughest little puppy in the room, but the next minute? I'm ready to curl up beside you and soak up all the love you have to give! I'm the perfect combination of a tiny troublemaker and an affectionate little sweetheart! 🤣💙 And guess what? I'm pretty clever, too! 🧠🐾 I'm still learning my basic commands, but my foster thinks I have a lot of potential! Sometimes when the older dogs sit, I try to copy them! See? I'm already paying attention to what the big kids are doing! Of course, when my foster tries to teach me something, I occasionally decide that playing sounds like a MUCH better idea. Can you blame me? I'm only 11 weeks old! 🤣 But with patience, positive reinforcement, and some one-on-one training time away from my puppy brothers, I have a great opportunity to keep learning. Now, let's talk about my puppy education! 📚🐾 I'm still a baby, so I have some important things to work on. I'm currently living in a playpen with my brothers, where we use washable pee pads. I'm getting the hang of using my designated potty area, but I'm not fully potty trained outside the playpen yet. I'll need a family who understands that potty training takes consistency, supervision, and plenty of patience. I'm also getting used to my crate and playpen routine, but I'll still need continued guidance as I adjust to a new home. And there's one more thing… I'm in my NIBBLING stage! 🦷🤣 That's right! I'm a puppy, and sometimes I like to explore the world with my mouth. Fingers? Interesting! A toy? Even better! Something I probably shouldn't chew? Well… I'm still learning! My future family will need to help me learn appropriate puppy biting manners by providing safe chew toys, redirecting my attention, and teaching me how to play gently. I promise I'm not trying to be naughty. I'm just a little guy figuring out how everything works! Now, let's talk about my dream home! 🏡💙 My foster believes I could fit into just about any loving household! A big family? Sounds fun! A small family? Wonderful! A home with other dogs? I'd love that! An apartment or townhome? That could work, too, as long as I get plenty of attention, exercise, and opportunities to play. But do you know what would make me REALLY happy? A backyard! 🌳🐾 I'd absolutely love having a securely fenced space where I can run around, explore, and burn off all my puppy energy. However, because I'm so tiny and adventurous, my foster wants my future family to know that I might be able to squeeze through gaps in some fences. A secure privacy fence would be ideal, and I'll need supervision whenever I'm outside to make sure I don't go exploring somewhere I shouldn't! After all, there's a whole world out there, and I'm a curious little guy! My foster also thinks I'd be a wonderful fit for a family with children. I've specifically been listed as good with older children ages 10 and up, and because I'm still learning puppy manners, gentle handling and supervision will be important with younger kids.
