I am a super cute, lovable 1 yr old Schnauzer mix pup (approx. DOB 6/1/25). I might be small, but I have a story of huge resilience. I was rescued from a backyard breeder in Pinellas County. When I was first saved, I couldn't walk at all, but I’ve worked so hard, and I am now a happy, zooming puppy who loves life! My Personality I am incredibly sweet and affectionate. Now that I’ve learned how to walk, I love to explore! I am playful, eager to be loved, and just want to be with my people.  I would do best in a home with another dog to play with.  I love to chew on my nylabones and stuffies. My Medical Journey I do have some ongoing bathroom problems, but that doesn’t slow my spirit down! We had an MRI done and unfortunately nothing can be done to fix the problem.  I do my best to go the bathroom outside but sometimes have accidents.  My foster mom sometimes has me wear a belly band. I am looking for a special adopter who can help me continue my journey to becoming as strong as possible. My Ideal Home Other Dogs:  Yes, I get along great with other dogs! Cats:  I don’t mind them at all but sure do like to bark at them Kids:  Because I’m still a young dog and a little "mouthy" when I get excited, I am recommended for a home with mature children. If you are looking for a lovable, brave little companion and are willing to manage my needs, I am ready to be your best friend. Pretzel's adoption fee is $400 - obedience training is required after adoption and fully enclosed front or backyard is also required. Story
Meet Abby! We’d like to introduce you to SBR’s youngest foster, born in early May. Her mother, Molly (SBR #2445) came to SBR from a rural shelter in Alabama about a month ago. What nobody knew at the time was that Abby was along for the ride.Abby was the only one of her litter who survived, but she is now doing well and thriving. She is not currently available for adoption and will remain with her mother for another month or so as she continues to learn about the world. While we know Abby’s mom is a basset hound, we have no idea about dad, but it's looking more and more like he was some kind of schnauzer!

These pups are in Tampa, Florida too!

Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! I’m Brooklyn 🐾💗 I’m a 10-year-old wire haired terrier, and I’m learning what it means to feel safe and loved. I just left my home of 10 years, so the world can feel a little big and scary sometimes. I am shy when we first meet, maybe even a little sassy with my bark, but I am truly a lover, not a fighter. If you give me a little time, I promise I’ll show you my true self 🥺and my true self is a snuggle loving, scratch seeking, side kick. Once I trust you, I turn into the sweetest, cuddliest little companion. I love being close to my people — snuggling up next to them, following them around, and just enjoying the comfort of being loved. I don’t ask for much… just a safe place and a parent or parents to call my own 💕 I had to share my last home with a one-year-old puppy and while I am still playful, love to zoom and chase toys and go for walks, I am not super excited about little puppy energy. I think I would love to be your only dog, or share with your slightly older dog, but no puppies please. I sleep beautifully in my playpen at night and am fully house trained. I love to go potty out in the fence in back yard, so if you had one of those, I would be so excited to roam out there with you. My perfect home would be calm and loving, with a small family where I can feel secure. I’d do great with another small, gentle dog friend and/or older kids who understand how to be patient and kind with me. I may be a little shy at first, but I have so much love to give. If you’re looking for a gentle, loyal cuddle buddy, I could be your perfect little shadow 🐾💗 When my foster parents sit and snuggle me, then stop petting me, I use my paw to direct their hands right back onto me for more pets and scratches. I really do want to be your lil lady, but I will remind you to pet me 😊 I do love a good chin and ear rub. It might be tricky to meet me at an adoption event because I can get a little overwhelmed in a crowd, but if you’re willing to take a chance on me, I will show you my beautiful loving soul and make you so glad you chose me. Love, Brooklyn Adoption FEE: $150, which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. A Mercy Full Project (MFP) Adoption Application MUST BE COMPLETED in order for you to be considered as a potential adopter. By filling out the MFP Adoption Application you agree and understand that ADOPTION IS NOT GUARANTEED. We are not first come, first served and submitting an application does NOT guarantee adoption. You will be contacted by an Adoption Coordinator once your application has gone through the approval process. Please ONLY APPLY IF you are ready to commit to adoption. TO ADOPT, APPLY ONLINE: www.mercyfullprojects.org PLEASE NOTE: We do our best to supply all known information about each animal in their profile. If you have additional questions, you may send an inquiry email to adopt@mercyfullprojects.org to be answered at our earliest convenience. All Dogs / Puppies / Cats / Kittens are up to date on age appropriate vaccines, spay/neuter, flea/heart worm prevention, and are microchipped prior to adoption. If you are meeting a puppy or kitten that is not ready for adoption there may be a waiting period until they are fully ready to go home. Adoption fee - Along with the individual animals vetting and daily care costs, the adoption fee helps Mercy Full Project cover additional vet bills, maintain their facility, and cover the cost of their operations in order to rescue more animals in need. **Our companions MUST live in your home as part of your family. **We do not transport. **Review our website for more information.
