**Meet Maximus (AKA Max)!** *Sweetest German Wirehaired Pointer looking for his forever home!* Max has been with us for **about a week**, and in that short time he’s already shown what an amazing pup he is. He’s around **1 year old**, full of love, and ready to form a strong bond with his people. **Personality**• Sweet as can be—loves giving gentle kisses• Playful and goofy, then settles down nicely after some fun• A bit shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly• Gets along wonderfully with his foster dog siblings **What Max Loves**• Being outside—this boy is happiest exploring the yard and sniffing the breeze• **Toys, toys, and more toys**—he absolutely loves them• Dog beds, soft blankets, and anything cozy to curl up on• Being near his people once he feels safe **Home Life**• **Potty trained** as long as you watch and listen for his cues• Good with kids per his temp foster; best with **older children** since he’s still young and could accidentally knock over toddlers• Not a big fan of the crate at first, but will go in and **sleep quietly through the night**• Still learning the ropes, eager to please, and has a gentle spiritMax is the **perfect blend of playful and cuddly** and will make an incredible companion for someone who appreciates a sweet, affectionate, outdoorsy pup.
