Story
There’s no pup sweeter than Mr. Peter! Don’t let his rugged appearance fool you – this fella is in for a total transformation. Peter was found surviving on the streets covered in ticks, fleas, and matted fur. Although he was in rough shape, he has already started his makeover by heading over to Wash-Shake-Wag in San Antonio for a groom. Soon enough, he will be ready to pass his newfound gratitude on to a new family! As a Schnauzer mix, Peter is very friendly, smart, driven, and a little sassy at times. Schnauzers make popular dogs due to their unique appearance and fun personalities. They are often seen on TV and in movies due to their high intelligence and trainability! Peter would make a great dog for someone on the go–He seems to already be potty trained, and familiar with commands such as “sit” and “stay”! So, if you want a new buddy with a little scruff and a lot of potential, look no further than Peter. He will only get better with time!

Story
Glance up high, and what do you see? The sun, moon, and stars, shining for you and me! Just like the Sky above, this beautiful girl is full of sparkle and wonder. Not only is she adorably unique with her small, scruffy body and tufted toes – she also has the personality of ten dogs! Sky is alert, curious, confident, and playful. A young pup at just five months old, she has lots of fun puppy energy, but she is already mastering her house manners. Sky is perfectly quiet in her crate, respectful of other dogs and their space, and corrects well. A typical day for Sky includes a good romp around with her toys and a sniffari in the backyard, followed by a hard nap! This little darling would make a welcome addition to a home with children or other pets. So, if you are looking for the perfect family dog, you don’t need to look very hard. All you have to do is look UP! Apply to meet Sky today!

Story
Flash! Aah-aaah! Savior of the universe! Flash is a super dog – but while he is the savior of the universe, he is the one who needs saving this time around. Poor Flash was the underdog in a dogfight before he was rescued. He has suffered numerous bite wounds, a significant infection, and is simply painful from the trauma. He came into our local animal shelter in shock and fortunately, they provided immediate veterinary care with intravenous fluids and pain management. He is making strides every day and we are committed to getting him to the other side. Despite Flash’s misfortune, he is only one year old and ready to receive all the good things in life. It’s clear that he knows we are trying to help him and has a very sweet demeanor. Flash is also relatively low-energy, but his personality may change as he continues to feel better. He is learning how to trust but readily leans into affection, making him a great project dog. Will you show Flash all the world has to offer? Please consider adopting this miracle boy – He is the king of the impossible!
