✅Currently located in South Korea✅️ 💟Available to fly to LAX💟 The prices listed are based on USD, and the adoption fee will be calculated in CAD according to the exchange rate. Meet Milo! 🧃 Milo's new account: @foster_zip_ 1. Medical History * Neutering: Completed. * Microchipped, heartworm negative upon retest, and dental scaling and extraction of one incisor completed. * Has a flea and tick allergy. Needs monthly tick prevention medication applied, and his bedding and blankets must be kept meticulously clean. 2. Rescue Story * When Milo was staying at the Gimje Shelter, he always had a sad look on his face and sat quietly in the corner. Whenever he saw humans, he was busy hiding away. Deeply concerned that Milo would completely close off his heart due to extreme fear and stress, Adogs stepped in urgently to rescue him. 3. Personality & Characteristics * With Humans: Is very fearful. If a stranger tries to touch him suddenly, he shows stress signals like yawning or lip-smacking. Is protective of his space against strangers and dislikes people who are pushy or fail to read his boundaries. However, with familiar faces he sees often, he will approach first to sniff. Once he fully trusts you, he becomes completely comfortable, allowing kisses, hugs, and physical touch! * With Dogs: In his foster home, he doesn't show much interest in other dog friends and remains rather indifferent around adult dogs. While he coexists peacefully for the most part, he may growl or give a warning if treats are around so caution is needed. Gets along quite well with smaller puppies. * With Cats: Shows no interest in cats. * Separation Anxiety: Has no separation anxiety and relaxes wonderfully on his own. * Potty Training: In his current foster home, he handles his business both indoors and outdoors. Used to shred pee pads in the past, but now just slightly folds them during use and no longer chews them. While he urinates well indoors, he strongly prefers going outdoors for bowel movements. * Grooming: Gets a bit scared when sprayed directly with the showerhead, but tolerates baths well and has no aversion to the blow dryer. Loves being brushed! Although he dislikes having his paws touched, nail trimming is manageable. Also behaves very well during teeth brushing. * Walking: Because he has some fear of the unfamiliar, he is currently undergoing leash training. Tends to freeze or resist in crowded areas, but walks well in quieter places. With consistent guidance, he is making great progress day by day. * Motion Sickness: Travels perfectly and relaxes quietly in his kennel during car rides. * Biting: Used to open his mouth defensively toward strangers when feeling terrified. However, through consistent desensitization training, he now simply freezes when unfamiliar people touch him and no longer snaps. If a human acts too pushy or makes him uncomfortable, he will growl to signal his boundaries. If such warning is ignored, he may muzzle punch. Careful observation is recommended in any new environment. * Barking: Doesn’t bark loudly but occasionally whines softly to communicate his needs. * Likes: Loves relaxing alone inside his kennel. Is also highly fond of meat treats, especially boiled chicken breast and duck jerky! * Dislikes: Is frightened by large gestures or sudden touch. Especially growls and twitches his lips if a stranger tries to grab his paws. Also, if he is held in a hug for longer than a minute, he may accidentally have a potty accident due to stress. Is fearful of outside noises and the clicking sound of a leash buckle. His paw sensitivity is currently being managed with desensitization training. * Personality: Is a sensitive, cautious, and independent boy who thrives in his own personal space. While it takes time for him to open up his heart, once you establish a bond, he reveals himself to be an incredibly sweet and charming!

Story
💙 Name: Chanran 💙 Gender: Male 💙 Age: Estimated 2 years old (Born in July 2024) 💙 Weight: 6.8 kg / 14.99 lbs 💙 Chanran's News Account: @chanran.ie 1️⃣ Health Condition * Neutered. * Microchipped and heartworm negative. * Presented with severe itching (scratching his neck and body until bleeding). After receiving veterinary injections and medication for allergies, he is currently under careful observation with a specialized hypo-allergenic diet and restricted treats. 2️⃣ Rescue Story * Chanran was surviving day by day inside the Gimje City Shelter under suffocating summer heat. Knowing he could not endure the harsh shelter conditions much longer, Adogs stepped in urgently to rescue him. 3️⃣ Basic Information * With People: Welcomes new faces happily, and with familiar people, he affectionately nudges his face against them and rests calmly while being petted. Is very gentle with children and stays stable and peaceful while his humans work nearby. * With Dogs: On walks, he shows healthy curiosity toward dog friends by greeting them with gentle sniffs. Even if another dog barks at him, he remains calm and does not bark back. * With Cats: Showed no particular reaction during a brief encounter. * Separation Anxiety: When his foster leaves, he barks or howls for about 1 minute before settling down on the entryway pad to sleep. May bark or growl briefly if he hears loud noises outside the front door. * Potty Training: Does great with both indoor pad and outdoor potty, but has had an occasional accident when feeling extremely nervous or stressed.. On indoor pads, he sometimes lifts his leg (foster uses wall-mounted pads). When taken on two outdoor walks a day, he exclusively potties outdoors without making indoor accidents. * Hygiene: Stays patient with brushing and nail trims. Stays calm during baths without fleeing, handles the blow dryer well, but isn't a big fan of towel drying. Moderate shedding is expected. * Walks: Currently enjoys two 30-minute walks daily at the foster home. Though he pulled on the leash initially, his leash manners have been steadily improving. * Car Sickness: Shows mild car sickness. Travels comfortably when the car window is slightly open, but has vomited when the window was fully closed, so gentle airflow and care are recommended. * Shows ZERO aggressive biting. Can be protective of his toys if touched while excited. Once, when his foster returned after a long absence, Chanran tried to chase his own tail and reflexively put his mouth on the foster's hand when restrained—he startled himself and immediately let go, showing no aggression. * May growl or bark occasionally at the TV or sudden noises from outside while home alone. May howl briefly for about 1 minute when his human leaves. * Is a pure sweetheart who adores people, dog friends, and outdoor adventures. Can get slightly over-excited during walks or treat times, so gentle guidance helps. While he has zero fear of people, household appliance sounds (like TVs, vacuums, or washing machines) can make him a little nervous. Is a gentle, submissive boy who accepts necessary care (like tooth brushing) quietly without resistance once gently held.

Meet Palomo A Gentle Senior Who Wants Nothing More Than to Love and Be Loved Breed: West Highland White Terrier Mix Gender: Male | Age: 09/14/2018 | Weight: 15 pounds Good With: Dogs ✔️ | Cats ✔️ | Kids ✔️ Personality: ❤️ Very Loving | Calm | Affectionate | Social with People Medical: History of Hip Fracture | Spay/Neuter & Vaccination Status: Fixed and current on vaccinations. Location: Los Angeles, California Transportation: Ozzie and Friends Rescue coordinates safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. ❤️ Personality, Breed Information & Palomo’s Story Palomo is an 8-year-old West Highland White Terrier mix with a gentle personality and a very simple wish: he just wants to be loved. He is an incredibly loving and calm boy who enjoys being around people. Palomo also gets along with other dogs and cats, making him a wonderful candidate for a home with other pets. Palomo has been through a difficult chapter. He previously suffered a fractured hip. His veterinarian recommended rest, and he was given the time he needed to recover. His history doesn't define him, but it is important information for his future family to know so his comfort and mobility can continue to be monitored. What stands out most about Palomo today isn't what happened to him—it's his temperament. He is peaceful, affectionate, and simply wants love and companionship. As a West Highland White Terrier mix, Palomo may share traits associated with Westies, including being affectionate, intelligent, curious, loyal, and full of personality. At eight years old, however, Palomo's individual personality is already clear: he's a calm, loving companion looking for a comfortable place to call home. Training, Adjustment & What to Expect Palomo is a senior dog, and his new home should give him a comfortable routine, gentle exercise, affection, and plenty of opportunities to relax near his people. Rescue dogs may arrive with basic training at best, so his family should patiently reinforce any household manners, leash skills, or routines he needs using positive reinforcement. The 3-3-3 Rule 3 Days to decompress and begin feeling safe 3 Weeks to understand his new household routine 3 Months to fully settle in, build trust, and feel at home A quiet sleeping area, predictable schedule, comfortable bedding, and patience will help Palomo settle into his new life. Owner Responsibilities & Veterinary Care Palomo has a history of a hip fracture, so his future veterinarian should be made aware of the previous injury. Although rest was the treatment recommended at the time, his family should continue monitoring his comfort and mobility as he gets older. Any limping, stiffness, difficulty getting up, reluctance to walk or jump, signs of pain, or changes in mobility should be evaluated by a veterinarian. As an 8-year-old dog, Palomo would also benefit from regular senior wellness examinations and any bloodwork his veterinarian recommends. Keeping him at a healthy weight can help reduce unnecessary stress on his hips and joints. His neuter and vaccination status were not provided and should be confirmed through his medical records. Adoption Information If you are interested in adopting Palomo, please complete an adoption application at: https://www.ozzieandfriendsrescue.org/adoptions Ozzie and Friends Rescue is a Los Angeles-based nonprofit dedicated to rescuing dogs in need and helping them find safe, loving forever homes. While based in Southern California, we coordinate safe transportation for approved adopters throughout the United States. Senior dogs deserve families who understand that their remaining years are every bit as valuable as their first ones. Adopting Palomo means committing to his comfort, veterinary care, companionship, and happiness throughout his senior years. Palomo isn't asking for big adventures or a complicated life. He's a calm, gentle boy who simply wants love—a comfortable place to rest, people to stay close to, and the security of knowing he's finally home. At eight years old, Palomo still has so much love left to give. Now he needs someone willing to give that love right back. October 10, 2026, 12:26 pm
