Story
THIS POST WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE DOG IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. INQUIRIES ABOUT THE ADOPTION STATUS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. Ivy is a 2 year old purebred Westie with a happy, lively personality! She likes to play and be chased by other dogs, enjoys walks and doesn't want to be left behind! She enjoys her human and canine companions and will definitely ask for attention. At times she gets pretty excited and energetic but we are working on a nice calm sit to help her learn what's expected in order to get attention. Her new family may need to continue working on this with her. Due to living her formative years in a commercial breeding facility, Ivy never had the chance to be a "puppy" and she is making up for lost time. A home that can keep her physically and mentally challenged will be ideal. Ivy has struggled with submissive and excitement urination but foster family stresses energy management and they attempt to keep the excitement level to a minimum to reduce the likelihood of "accidents". While Ivy walks nicely on leash, she would prefer a fenced yard and a resident terrier to romp and play with. She has lived with older children without issues. The suggested adoption donation for Ivy is a minimum of $700 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. Approved adopters are required to travel to Omaha, NE to pick up their newly adopted dog. We do not arrange transport, or fly our rescue dogs without a "pet nanny". All of our dogs that come from a commercial breeding facility require a securely fenced yard AND a resident companion dog, unless the dog's bio states otherwise. Please note, invisible or underground fencing is not considered secure or appropriate containment. Adoption applications can be found at www.wagntrainterrierrescue.com/adoption-information

THIS POST WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE DOG IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. INQUIRIES ABOUT THE ADOPTION STATUS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. Shawn O'Casey is a happy, lively fellow who was recently released from a commercial breeding facility. He energetically embraces life with joy and exuberance and doesn't know a stranger! Shawn will be a perfect match for an active couple or family who can keep him physically and mentally exercised and challenged. Manners classes will benefit this lad and a securely fenced yard will be a requirement as he loves to run and explore, making up for all those months of confinement during his puppyhood. Shawn would love a canine friend with which to wrestle and tag-team the bunnies and squirrels in your yard. As a typical terrier, he plays hard so a dog close to his size and age will be ideal. The suggested adoption donation for Shawn is a minimum of $700 and goes toward the high cost of veterinary care for our rescue dogs.Wag N Train Terrier Rescue adopts to an extended geographical area as long as we can locate a local volunteer to perform the required home visit. THIS POST WILL BE REMOVED WHEN THE DOG IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE. INQUIRIES ABOUT THE ADOPTION STATUS WILL NOT BE RETURNED. . Hi everyone! My name is Dylan and I am an adorable young pup looking for my forever home. I am an incredibly affectionate dog and love to give kisses, get belly rubs and just be close to my favorite humans. I am also very playful and love to run around and play with toys. I am extremely curious and love to explore and sniff around new places. I am a very smart dog and can learn tricks very quickly. I have already bonded very quickly with my foster family and I am very friendly and love to meet new people. I am still working on my house training but I'm doing my best! I can't wait to find my forever home and spend lots of time with my new family. Dylan will need a securely fenced yard as he has not yet perfected his leash skills, and a resident playful dog as a mentor and companion.
