Ezzy, is apx 3 years old and 13.4 pounds. She is West highland terrier mix. Non shedding. Ezzy is a good dog, she has a few quirks , she is a bit of a nervous nelly when meeting new people, weary but never aggressive and no biting or nipping but she does not like her head pet by strangers which is of course what everyone’s goes for first. She will pull her head away quickly which is startling for people and they think she is going to bite but she will not bite. Once she gets to know you and is comfortable with you she is super duper cuddly, loving and affectionate, just takes her a day or two. She walks well on leash and harness, appears to have good potty manners, she is good with other dogs but will “mom” younger puppies and does not like hyper dogs in her face and will give a little growl and pull her head back but will not bite. She is with several other dogs here and does great with all of them. Just like with people, just takes her a minute. Non shedding. Gorgeous white coat. She is not a big barker but hates the crate and will whine a lot if you crate her. She is very well mannered and really does not need to be crated. She was rescued from a high kill shelter. She was shaved when we got her. Covered in fleas. Disgustingly dirty. Now she is healthy, clean and emotionally healing from her past life. She is a great girl, she just needs that extra love. She would be fine with children middle school age and up but I would not trust her yet with very small children. I don’t think this is a never , I think she just needs to learn trust in humans again. Someone was mean to this girl . And then probably just dumped her in the middle of no where.

Story
This handsome guy is Benji, a sweet senior pup with plenty of love and tail wags still to give. Benji is currently thriving in a wonderful foster home where he's showing just how much heart he has. Though he may be a little older, Benji still enjoys the simple joys in life—especially playing outside with his foster's pup, who's quickly become his best friend. He’s a loyal little shadow to his foster dad, following him everywhere and soaking up all the couch snuggles he can get. He’s even won over the granddogs in the family with his gentle and friendly nature! He’s incredibly trusting, attentive, and eager to connect—making him an easy and lovable companion. Benji just got his summer cut. He’s a good looking guy with or without that mop of fur! If you're looking for a calm, affectionate, and loyal best friend, Benji just might be your perfect match. Check out this short YouTube video of Benji in action: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/W7Q0LQi23zg Ready to meet Benji? Fill out an application at wimberleywagrescue.org. Story
Boo WHO?! A Boo who would love to be with YOU! This sweet boy arrived at SNIPSA with an unknown history but we suspect somewhere along the way he had a spinal injury. He gets around like a champ greeting his fan club with a wagging tail. Boo is social, curious, and wants to join you on the sofa for long siestas. His favorite show is the Golden Girls and his favorite food is a sliver of steak. He does well with other dogs and is well behaved in the house. He isn’t loud or overbearing and is eager to find a pillow just to bed down wherever that may be. The downside is Boo suffers from mild urinary incontinence and his bladder needs to be manually expressed a few times a day. We know we have probably lost our audience at this point, but in reality it’s super easy. Just a little squeeze, he relaxes and the bladder is emptied. He is aware when the bladder is full and more than willing to help with the process. He can wear a belly band if needed for added confidence. With this aside, we know Boo will need that special person willing to step up for that special dog. Yet, we are confident there is a home for every dog so we were willing to take that chance. Please consider opening your heart and home to our scruffy little friend! He will definitely keep you smiling. Apply to adopt Boo today!
