Story
Tyler is a 10 year old, senior Wheaton Terrier/Poodle mix, around 28 lbs.  Tyler's a handsome boy who's one of the most affectionate dogs ever. He was previously abused and had a very hard time trusting new people but he's a different dog now and has learned most people are kind.   No first time dog owners please. Adopters must be in the metro Atlanta area.  He's most familiar with women and would do best with a female owner or a loving couple. No single male homes will work for him. Tyler loves women! Any men in the home need to be a loving, doggie dad. Tyler is smart, he will know if you‘re a “dog person” or not.   He does best in a calm, quiet home without a lot of noise or activity, including guests coming and going often. The ideal age range for Tyler is 50‘s to early 60’s, someone more settled with a calm lifestyle. He’s not used to children and is happiest as the only pet in the home. Tyler is still active and playful and loves leash walks.   Tyler is housebroken, neutered and current on shots. Adoption fee is $250.   March 15, 2026, 12:10 am

Story
Dutch is an 8 yr old, 30 lb Wheaten Terrier.. Rehoming him is a very hard decision. I really love him. Dutch is the most loyal and loving dog ever. He doesn’t have a mean bone in his body. He loves everyone. He is a barker and stays on heightened alert. I’m hoping with the right pet parent that he will learn to relax and the excessive barking will cease. I have finally come to accept that I need to do what is best for Dutch. He deserves someone available to give him all the love and attention he needs. He loves being around people. I work no less than 48 hours a week at night so he gets lonely. Plus I have downsized significantly and I don’t have a lot of room for him. My current residence doesn’t have a fenced yard for him to run and play like our old house did. He does well with baths but doesn’t like his face blow dried. He can tolerate a crate for a while but can break out of almost every one he’s had. His vaccines are current. He does have a microchip but I never registered it.

These pups are in Alpharetta, Georgia too!

Story
BALANCE BEAM BABY! Ellie (or ‘Ellie Serenity’ when she’s feeling fancy) is a sweet, affectionate young terrier mix (about 2 years old and 33 pounds) who is quickly winning hearts in her foster home. She absolutely loves people and is happiest when she can be near her humans - whether that’s following you from room to room, leaning in for pets, or curling up nearby for a nap.   Ellie has a playful, curious spirit and enjoys getting out for walks and exploring the world. One of her most charming quirks is her impressive balance. She loves to hop up and confidently walk along low stone walls like a little gymnast on a balance beam! She also enjoys meeting other dogs and has shown friendly, playful body language during introductions.   At home, Ellie is very loving and enjoys lots of affection and attention. She’s learning her routines and settles nicely in a crate when people are nearby. Like many young dogs, she’s still working on a few things. She can be a bit enthusiastic on walks when she sees another dog, and she’s curious about anything that might smell like food. She loves to chew a bone.    Ellie has been calm and indifferent around the cats in her foster home. She would likely do well in many types of homes as long as she gets daily walks, love, and continued guidance as she settles into her new life.   Her ideal family will enjoy spending time with their dog - aking walks, offering plenty of affection, and helping her continue to build confidence and good manners. In return, Ellie promises loyal companionship, lots of love, and a few delightful surprises - like showing off her balance-beam skills on neighborhood walks.   If you’re looking for a loving companion who will happily join you on walks and then curl up nearby for cuddles, Ellie Serenity is ready to meet you.
