Story
Simba is 8 years old and the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet. He absolutely loves cuddles, rubs and simply being near you. He doesn’t require much at all. He’s great on hikes and long walks which is what we spend most of our time doing when we aren’t taking naps. I’m rehoming him because I’ll be relocating soon for my job and I will not be able to tend to him like he deserves to be tended to. A few things about him he does howl sometimes when you leave the home and he does not get along well with other dogs.

Story
Cooper will be four years old in August. We bought him from the breeder in Georgia who has been breeding Cockapoo's for a long time. Cooper has been a great family pet and is really great with adults, but in full disclosure he has had some challenging behaviors around kids at times (not often) and fairly frequent ear infections. He has been a great family dog overall for us and our three young children and is a sweet, small dog that just wants to sit up against you in the recliner or curl up against your legs if you are laying on the sofa. However, he will urinate or poop in the house randomly which may be due to the fact that we have another male dog. Bottom line is that he needs frequent walks to keep this from happening. We really hope to find him a great home, possibly someone who is home during the day and can walk him regularly. Our busy work and family schedules make that a challenge for us and I believe he acts out in defiance. He is crate trained and will go in on command.

Story
BUDDY HAS A REDUCED ADOPTION FEE OF ONLY $50 THROUGH JULY 31ST, THANKS TO THE BISSELL EMPTY THE SHELTERS ADOPTION EVENT. Meet Buddy, a brave, independent, and curious dog with a sharp intellect. He's house-trained, making him a perfect fit for an adult home. He's smart, quickly picking up on routines and commands. But don't be fooled by his independence; Buddy cherishes companionship and would love nothing more than to be part of a family. Adopt Buddy to experience his incredible personality. Despite his independent streak, Buddy is a friend to all, including cats but it needs to be a calm environment. Buddy does not do well with high energy or assertive dogs. Buddy is a bite risk when he gets over stimulated. We are working with him and learning more about his specific needs and triggers. He would do best in a quiet home with a fenced backyard. He would not do well in an apartment setting. Buddy weighs 19lbs. Buddy, is approximately 6 years old (est. birth date 10/25/2017), and his adoption fee is $175. Buddy has been neutered, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. If you want to know more about Buddy, please complete a survey at https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FKDS/Dog. At this time, meeting our dogs is by appointment only. Story
Introducing Zazie!   Zazie is approximately 11 months old and is very sweet, energetic and a fast learner. She's about 60 pounds right now and all legs! She is dog friendly and easily adapts to new surroundings. She is smarty pants with an eagerness for training. She already knows sit and shake!    Zazie would best thrive in an active home that has time to help her get out her fun, playful energy. She's working on mastering her leash skills. She absolutely loves to be outside! She attends a doggie playgroup daily and has a blast with her doggie friends romping around the pool.   She would be great for any on-the-go family or an individual who desires an active companion.   An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions.
