Story
Can only be adopted in Texas Looking for a trusty sidekick to go on adventures with? A shaggy dog who'll never leave your side and will cuddle up with you to get through the long night? Well, look no further than Maya! This sandy, shaggy, terrier will sweep you off your feet and will make everyday feel like an adventure! Her honey eyes will always be sparkling to see you wherever you go and whenever you get back home! Maya is going to thrive as an only dog and would do best in a home that does not have a lot of doggie traffic coming and going. She likes her quiet life and she loves her person. Like most diva's she is not one to share her toys, people or space! Maya is the type of girl who would love the simply country lifestyle. Sitting on the porch with her person, afternoon strolls on the backyard. Really the quiet, relaxed, laidback kinda gal. Maya is a medium-sized dog (20-59#). Local adoption fee $200 (in TX)

Story
Tina is a 9 year old spayed female Wheaten Terrier/Miniature Poodle who weighs 30.5 pounds. After 9 years at a breeding kennel, this former mama is adapting so well to life as a loved pet and is looking for a family to spoil her in her golden years. This poor girl was suffering from a painful bladder stone when she arrived into our care and needed surgery to remove it. Now she is on her way to feeling her best, and her new prescription diet should prevent her from ever having to go through such an ordeal in the future. Tina would fit easily into a variety of homes. She appears to be house trained and doesn't mind spending time in a crate, but she is not destructive if left alone out of a crate either. This mama is a little bit of a collector though, so you may find your flip flop in a different spot than you left it, but undamaged. She coexists easily with other dogs and even cats but is not interested in being a playmate. She walks well on a leash and enjoys a stroll around the neighborhood for a little exercise, before reclaiming her spot on the couch and settling in for a snooze. She is a very mild-mannered, even-tempered girl just looking for a loving home after many years of raising puppies. Tina deserves the world, and we can't wait to find her the special family she's been dreaming of!
