** DO NOT CLICK ON 'INQUIRE ABOUT THIS PET'** You must follow the instructions below if interested. Shiloh is a STUNNING wheaten doodle (we are guessing, have no idea!). He is giant regal, non-shedding, housetrained god of a dog. He is very shy and sweet and when he warms up, he loves to wrestle. He would do best with another pup in the home to help him with his confidence! He is 1 yr old and weighs around 65lbs but is very tall and lanky. He is sweet to all humans and puppers. What an amazing dog! All of our pets are located in Houston TX and will not be transported until adopted. You will get to video chat with the pup once/if your application is approved. We are not first-come, first-served but rather strive to match dogs to their best fit homes! If you are interested, you MUST FILL OUT AN APPLICATION at www.recycleddogsrescue.org. The adoption fee is $850 + transport (if applicable). We cannot guarantee breed, size, or behavior!

Story
Meet Dickens! Breed: Wheaten Terrier MixGender: MaleAge: AdultSize: Small/Medium (21 lbs)Good with: Patient people, other dogs who can mentor him Dickens came to us matted and terrified of the world—a dog who had clearly been through some stuff and didn't trust that life could be good. But here's the beautiful part: in his time with us, he has absolutely blossomed into a dog who does dog things! It's been incredible to watch him learn that the world isn't so scary after all, and that being a dog can actually be pretty great. Dickens isn't super playful in the traditional sense—he's not going to fetch for hours or zoom around like a maniac. But what he DOES do is become your homing beacon once he loves and trusts you. This boy can smell his people at 100 yards and will absolutely let you know he's found you. That kind of devotion is earned, not given, and it makes it all the more special when you become his person. He would likely do best in a home where his people can be around a lot—he's still learning that being alone is okay, and he thrives on the security of having his humans nearby. A dog friend would be ideal for Dickens! He's still learning the ropes of being a dog, and having a confident, patient canine companion to show him how it's done would help him continue his incredible transformation. Dickens is proof that with love, patience, and time, even the most scared dog can learn to trust again. He's come so far, and he deserves a home that will celebrate every milestone with him as he continues to blossom into the amazing dog he's meant to be! Ready to welcome Dickens into your life? Contact us to meet this wonderful boy! Disclaimer: The information in this profile reflects observations made while this dog has been in our shelter environment. We strive to describe each dog as accurately as possible; however, behavior and needs may change once the dog is in a new home, routine, or environment. Our dogs are not freeroaming in homes. When we note that a dog is "potty trained," this refers to reliable crate training, not confirmed freeroam house training. Accidents may occur during the transition to a new home, and additional training should be expected. All dogs are examined by our veterinarian, are spayed or neutered if old enough, and are up to date on ageappropriate vaccinations at the time of adoption. We share all known medical information, but we cannot guarantee future health or rule out underlying conditions. ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.happyfacespetranch.org Once your application has been approved, a representative will be in touch to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog based on the dog's individual needs. ##2587518##

Story
Pierce is a good looking boy straight from the streets of Houston. He is a wonderful, funny boy when he trusts you but trust is not something that comes easy for him. He has obviously been let down by humans his entire life. He is currently living with our trainer, who is helping him understand that humans can be good and trusted. Pierce is just about 2 years old, 60 pounds and maybe a schnauzer/husky mix. He needs an experienced handler who can continue to help him build h is confidence and trust in humans. Pierce is up to date on vaccines, neutered and microchipped. Pierce is currently heartworm positive but we will continue to cover treating him through the slow kill method. If you are interested in fostering or adopting this handsome guy, just fill out the appropriate application found at scoutshonor.org.     Scout's Honor Rescue is a 501c3 whose primary focus is rescuing dogs from the euthanasia list from high kill TX shelters. EIN # is 87-0773073 Follow us on Facebook at www.facebook.com/scoutshonorrescue or Instagram at www.instagram.com/scoutshonorrescue We have multiple ways to donate: Venmo:  @ScoutsHonor-Rescue Paypal: www.paypal.me/scoutshonorrescue   https://scoutshonor.org/take-action/donate/ We are strictly volunteer based, no salaries are paid and 100% of donations go towards rescuing dogs March 8, 2026, 9:28 pm

Story
Now this boy is a total goofball… meet Fletch!  Fletch was found as a stray alongside his brother, who looked just like him, and sweet Ruby, another girl we pulled during our shelter pull. His brother was lucky enough to get adopted, but Fletch and Ruby were left behind and getting closer and closer to euthanasia. Thankfully, they’re now safe with us forever. Fletch is estimated to be around 2 years old, but honestly he could easily be closer to 1 because this boy acts just like a puppy. He’s goofy, energetic, playful, and absolutely full of life. Fletch definitely thrives with exercise, structure, and having rules in place. Truthfully, he just doesn’t seem like he was ever taught much before now.  What he does know is how to love. Fletch loves every single person he meets and is always ready to make new dog friends too. He’s the kind of dog that will keep you laughing daily with his silly personality and puppy antics. We know once he’s getting consistent exercise, has structure, this boy is going to settle into being such an awesome companion. Fletch is doing great in boarding, but we would LOVE to get a foster lined up for him as we head into week two. Somehow he hasn’t come down with any shelter crud, and we are crossing our fingers it stays that way! Please consider fostering or adopting this handsome goofball. We know his person is out there somewhere  Apply at www.scoutshonor.org to foster or adopt Fletch!  June 8, 2026, 7:21 pm
