She is so sweet tempered and affectionate! Loves to sit on a lap. Will try to jump 4 feet into your arms if anything startles her. Runs up and down stairs like a champ. I think she enjoys a LOT of exercise. She really enjoys a thick bully stick and can work on one for days.

They have been through a tough life. However, it doesn’t stop them from loving and trusting humans. They are now in a foster home with other dogs and are good with dogs of all sizes. They are doing well in their foster home and ready for a forever home. They started some leash training and are learning at a good pace. They are crate train and doing well on their house training. We are hoping to keep them together as they have been through so much. They rely on each other and sleep piling up on each other. They are very bonded and are always close to each other. Whippa’s Rescue Story Whippy, Whippa, and Whippo were rescued from a poorly run private shelter. The shelter has over 2,000 dogs living in cramped and wet environment. They were used as breeding dogs. After they were done with them, they were sent to a private shelter where they lived in a cage and never let out. A kind international rescue organization got a rescue message from a volunteer. The founder has over 160 dogs waiting for homes and didn’t have space for another dog. However, when she saw photos of the dogs suffering. She knew it was urgent to rescue them. The rescue took home 19 dogs and promised to find them forever loving homes. They had a thorough medical checkup. They had been spayed & netuered, vaccinated, microchip, and passed negative on their blood tests. Right now, she’s very scared — the kind of scared that makes her try to make herself as small and far away as possible when someone approaches her crate. It’s clear she hasn’t had an easy start, and everything feels new and overwhelming. But even in her fear, Dutchess is trying.
