Meet Lola – Your Happy-Go-Lucky Adventure Buddy! Sweet Lola is looking for a forever family that is ready to give her the love, guidance, and commitment she deserves. After being adopted from a city shelter by a family that wasn't prepared for the responsibilities of pet ownership, Lola came to Animal Friends Connection Humane Society in search of a fresh start and a loving home. The shelter listed Lola as a Labrador Retriever mix, we think she may also have a little Whippet in her family tree. Whatever her mix may be, one thing is certain—she is absolutely adorable! Born in November 2025, Lola currently weighs about 25 pounds and is still growing into a wonderful young companion. She is smart, eager to learn, and already knows the command "Sit"—especially when treats are involved! She walks nicely on a leash and appears to be mostly potty trained, even going to the door to let you know when she needs to go outside. Lola has never met a stranger. Her cheerful personality and friendly nature make her a joy to be around. She gets along well with other dogs and does well with cats, although any feline friends should be dog-savvy since Lola sometimes thinks a game of chase sounds like fun. This affectionate girl is spayed, microchipped, and current on her vaccinations, making her ready to start her next chapter right away.
