Story
Meet Ansley, a young adult spayed female Whippet/terrier mix! She is about 1 year old and weighs 28ish lbs. Ansley will be arriving in CT on 7/25 and we are accepting applications for her now!  Ansley is medically up to date and spayed. Apply to meet this special pup today! Click HERE for Adoption Application: pawsrescueleague.org/adopt Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs.  We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted.  As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding! ##2788390##

Story
This sweet girl has raised her puppies and is finally ready for a life that’s all about her. Her days of motherhood are behind her, and now it’s time for fun, adventures, and being spoiled like the baby she deserves to be. She loves going on walks and does great on a leash, making her the perfect companion for someone who enjoys getting out and about. She also rides nicely in the car, so she’s ready to tag along wherever the road leads. All she wants now is a family to love her, take her on adventures, and remind her that the best part of life is still ahead. 🐾💛 Great either way little kids and other dogs. Zona is spayed/neutered, up to date on vaccinations, and current on flea/tick and heartworm preventative. All dogs 6 month + receive a Proheart 6 injection at the time of their heartworm test. This provides heartworm prevention for 6 months from the time of that injection. This dog has tested ****** for heartworms. The adoption fee is $450 if your adoption is prepaid and final prior to your dog's arrival. An additional $50 will be charged on dogs that are adopted at an event, or foster home. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with CT HB 5368. WANT TO MEET OUR DOGS IN PERSON? Check the Events tab on cprdogs.com for all weekend adoption event info. The majority of the dogs marked as 'meet me' will be there to see you! If you are a MA resident, your new family member is required to go through a mandatory 48 hour quarantine period at our Woburn MA isolation facility. Your new family member will be dropped off by our transport on Thursday and will be ready for you to pick him/her up on Saturday between 11 am-1 pm. An additional $100 fee will be added for any dogs picked up from the Woburn MA quarantine facility. This additional fee is necessary in order to comply with MA Order 405-CD-12 and Order 1-AHO-05. TO APPLY PLEASE GO TO www.cprdogs.com. If your application was successfully submitted you will get a confirmation. Please DO NOT USE the ADOPTAPET "CONTACT THIS RESCUE GROUP" form below or you may not hear from us as these often end up in spam or bouncing back. After receipt of your application, an adoption counselor will then be in touch to answer your questions about this pup, discuss the adoption process and get the ball rolling! Story
Hi Everyone! I am a pretty tan Whippet/Chihuahua mix, about 6 months old, weighing 25 lbs, and I am looking for a new forever home. I was adopted when I was about 3 months old in San Antonio, but due to a tiny apartment, too much time in a crate, and no room for me to play, I was surrendered to 4 Little Paws Rescue. I am spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, healthy, and happy, and ready for a new beginning! I am a happy, friendly girl with a sweet personality and lots of playful energy, great with people, kids, and other dogs. I love playtime, going for walks, road trips, doggy toys, tug-of-war, and doggy treats. I know how to sit like a good girl when you are holding a treat, and I enjoy learning new things, mostly so I can get another treat, LOL. I am affectionate and enjoy neck and belly rubs, and snuggling beside you. I am working on housebreaking and already know how to use a potty pad while I'm in my playpen. I am good in a crate while home alone, and I sleep in one each night, but I would probably love to sleep with my family. I am hoping for a happy future with a loving family, room to play, and some fun activities! Inquire about me today. * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

*Name: Sevy *Age: 3.5 years old  *Current Weight: 40 lbs  *Adoption fee: $475 Meet Sevy! Sevy is the total package — sweet, playful, loving, and always ready for her next adventure! This beautiful girl absolutely adores children and would happily spend her days soaking up cuddles with her people. She has a fun, playful personality and loves being outdoors, whether she’s exploring the yard, running around, or just enjoying the sunshine. Sevy is also a smart girl who responds very well to commands and has great recall. She loves being with her humans and is eager to please, making her a wonderful companion for an active family. Because Sevy has lived on a large property where she had plenty of room to roam freely, she is still learning leash skills and can be uncomfortable walking on one at times. With patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement, she has all the potential to improve and gain confidence. If you’re looking for a loving, playful best friend who’s happiest by your side and out enjoying life, Sevy may just be your perfect match!  To apply to adopt, fill out an application at https://snarrnortheast.org/adopt/ ##1557282##

Story
Meet Toffee (brindle) and Heath (white), a bonded pair of one-and-a-half-year-old Catahoula mix brothers with an unshakable connection. These two grew up side by side and have been inseparable ever since. Toffee is hearing-impaired and looks to Heath as his guide and emotional support, while Heath takes that role to heart, always looking out for his brother. Both boys are friendly and affectionate, though they can be a bit timid in new situations. Once they warm up, their personalities shine—Heath is the energetic social butterfly, always ready for playtime or a walk, and Toffee brings a gentle, calming presence with his sweet, soulful eyes. They love running and playing together, whether it’s chasing each other around the yard or stretching out in the grass for a good nap. Their bond makes them the perfect team—Heath gives Toffee confidence, and Toffee keeps Heath grounded. They’re looking for a home that will embrace their unique connection and give them both the love, patience, and space to thrive. With Toffee and Heath, you’re not just adopting dogs—you’re gaining a loyal duo that will fill your life with double the love and twice the tail wags. Story
✨ Meet Snow White ✨ Once upon a time, Snow White was the devoted mom to seven adorable “dwarves.” After the whole family was rescued from being dumped on the side of the road, Snow lovingly raised her babies—and now that all of them have found homes, it’s finally Snow’s turn to shine! Snow White is a sweet, affectionate girl who truly enjoys human companionship. She may be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, her playful personality blossoms. When she gets excited, she’ll do joyful zoomies around the yard, ears flopping in the most endearing way—it’s impossible not to smile. She’s a fairly neat and well-mannered gal who does well in a kennel, so we think she’ll transition nicely into a home of her own. Snow loves attention, toys, and snacks, and she thrives with people who want to include her in their daily lives. An active home is a must—Snow is no couch potato and would love a family who enjoys playtime and outdoor fun. Snow would do best as the only pet in the home, as other dogs or cats can be a bit too stimulating for her. She’s happiest when she can soak up all the love and attention for herself. If you’re looking for a loyal, playful companion with a heart as big as her story, Snow White might just be your happily-ever-after. 💙 Snow White is hw ( heartworm) negative, fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.
