Story
I received CQ Beauty from her breeder when she was 6 months old. She is not 5 years old. She is comfortable with most dogs when at dog park and less so when on the leash. She has been bitten twice by large dogs, but recovered well. CQ loves to play and chase balls, although she does not always bring them back. She is a fast and likes to run, as well as lounging in the sun. She will go after rabbits, squirrels, and lizards if she is not held back. I love her very much, but due to several health issues I can no longer give her the kind of attention or exercise she craves. She needs a new family who will love her and give her plenty of exercise. A fenced in yard would be recommended but she prefers to be around her master. She loves treats and having food scraps added to her regular dog food. I will be happy to donate any dog food, treats, leashes and accessories that I have to her new family. Thank you, If possible, I need to rehome her during the month of May.

Woof! Hey there, I'm Rod, the spirited Whippet with a "TAIL" to tell. My journey started in China, where things were tough for a pup like me. The meat markets were no place for a doggy with dreams. But guess what? Some brave souls swooped in, and suddenly, I was airborne, flying across continents like a doggy superhero. Landing at the Big Dog Ranch Rescue was like hitting the jackpot - a safe haven where I could wag my tail and dream of a forever home. Now, I'm here, waiting for that special family to notice me. I'm a ball of energy, extremely stimulated and ready for adventures. Prey drive? Oh, you bet! Anything that moves, I'm on it. But here's the thing - I'd love a friend, a mellow and submissive dog who understands my quirks. Playful is cool, but not too much-I've got a high prey drive, you see. Small dogs and puppies? Not my cup of water, I'd say. None of "THOSE" cats either. It's just how I roll. If you're thinking of bringing me into your home, make sure you're ready for some high-energy fun and be experienced with my breed and be ready for a bit of training. I'm eager to learn and please, especially if it means finding that warm embrace of a forever family. Big Dog Ranch offers a FREE training session too.
