Story
Charlie - The Big-Eared Sweetie Pie Imagine this tiny puppy, hungry and frightened, with no idea where he is or why the people he trusted left him behind. That was Charlie’s reality when he was found dumped and abandoned on a beach in Puerto Rico. 😢 He was scared. He was hungry. And he was all alone. But then someone stopped and saw him. Someone cared. And little by little, Charlie began to discover that the world could be a kind place after all. ❤️ Today, this adorable little boy is showing his foster family what a sweet soul he truly is. Charlie is super gentle, incredibly loving, and absolutely precious — especially those BIG, adorable ears! 🥹🐾 He loves being around people and is wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs. He has so much love to give and just needs what every puppy deserves: a safe home, a soft place to sleep, and someone who will never abandon him again. Charlie is currently in Puerto Rico with his foster family, who adore him and know he will be a wonderful addition to any family. He is so full of love and fun! His adoption fee includes transportation to anywhere in the mainland US (except the west coast). Charlie has already survived the hardest part of his story. Now he’s waiting for the part where he gets his happily ever after. 💙 Charlie is ready for his forever family.

Story
Joe is a wonderful dog who originally came to us from Ireland. He is a graduate of the Greyhound Advancement Center's training program at Hardee Correctional Institution. While he was there he was taught all of his basic commands (sit, down, stay, wait at the door, come on recall etc.) He is a medium sized greyhound boy at 76 lbs, and has a beautiful, shiny black coat. Joe is also neutered, fully vaccinated, and comes with a collar and lead, as well as his own bed.. He has been in a home as a pet for the past year, so he is already home acclimated. Because he is so calm and easy going, we call him "Cool Joe". Joe is in need of a new home since his owner has broken her arm, so can no longer walk him. Joe is great with other greyhounds and similar sized dogs, but would do best in a home with no small dogs or cats. He would also love a fenced yard. In Ireland, Joe raced 13 times but did not win any races and was retired. His current owner describes Joe as a "wonderful" boy. Please call 813-935-3247 or e-mail us if you ae interested in Joe. To see more about his prison training, please go to our website, www.bayareagreyhounds.org, and click on Prison Trained Greyhounds.

Story
Hi, I'm Drina, a striking 9-year-old brindle Greyhound with a heart full of love to give! 🐾 At 45 pounds, I'm the perfect medium-sized companion, and I get along wonderfully with other dogs, so I'd thrive in a multi-dog home. I'm affectionate and cuddly, ready to shower my people with all the devotion a senior girl can offer. My adoption fee is completely free, and I'm waiting to find my forever family — come meet me and let's start our adventure together! ❤️ Drina girl is waiting on her forever home! This girl was rescued after her owner died, left alone for an extended period, alone and scared. When she was finally discovered with her deceased owner, she was emaciated and suffering from severe fur loss. , overgrown nails that curled, anxious and confused. She was only 38 lbs but this hound girl who is 8 years old has thrived in her foster home! Drina is great as an only dog who can get all the love or with other dogs. Adoption app: www.maxxandme.org Drina’s adoption fee is $300 and she is fully vetted, spayed, UTD on shots and ready to find her perfect home🐾❤️ To help pay our thousands in vet bills 💔 – we seem to take the very hard medical cases- do you see a trend 😂 Donations can be made: PayPal.me/maxxandme Venmo@maxxandmepetrescue CashApp$maxxandmepetrescue Maxxandme.org/donate Checks: Maxx & Me Pet Rescue 12191 W Linebaugh Ave #554 Tampa, FL 33626
