So we are likely Hound/Scruffy/Lab mixes.. you know, we call them :San Antonio Specials! Karl looking brindley and chocolate with Krew and Karter looking more black and white like a lab. And a little scruffy too! Who doesn't love a scruffy beard?? As you can see in our pictures, we are full of life and full of love and fun. We have settled into the rescue life and are now ready to settle into the FAMILY life! We are pretty big pups, and will likely be at about 50-60 pound range full grown. I have had so many chances in my young life. Seriously...I was found with four siblings at about 2.5 weeks old, dumped in a box at the post office... we were so, so sick and close to death. My rescue mom really worked hard to get us healthy and LIVE. And we did! About 6 weeks later, we all got parvo..... and my rescuer was able to nurse all of us out of it! All my siblings have been adopted, and I am ready too! I am somewhat shy and will take time to settle into my new family. But I will adjust. I am best with another dog, calm and confident, because I will mirror that energy. As a gorgeous catahoula/whippet mix, I have plenty of energy and I love to play! Fetch and chase games are my favorite . I am adoptable in Texas, I need to meet my family and you need to meet me! Local adoption fee is $300 (in TX)

Who names puppies Chicken, Banana and Raisin?? Hungry rescuers, thats who!!!! Now , when we were found, we were HUNGRY TOO! We were "living" at a gas station in the 90 to 100 degree temperatures and unbelievable flooding 🌧.... so yep, we r SURVIVORS! As mama to this crew I was so very scared for our safety but was also scared of the people helping us... fast forward to today!
