Lizzie is a total survivor that is ready to find her person. She is currently staying at a boarding facility (Animal Bed & Breakfast) while we try and find her a foster or even better a forever home! About Lizzie: 1-2 year old spayed female Petite 35lbs prefers women but warms up to men over time Very Active, busy bee personality Completed a 3 week professional board & train program Crate/Potty Trained Microchipped, UTD on preventatives & vaccines Has not been tested with cats/kids but would probably do best in a home with older children/ no small pets due to her high energy levels Lizzie has not formerly been tested with other dogs but has shown not reactivity to dogs while in boarding and has shown friendly body language. We do believe that she would probably benefit to a home with a playmate with proper introductions. Lizzie absolutely needs an active home and would love to be someone's hiking or jogging partner. Transport available to anywhere in NC/SC! All fostering supplies are included! Foster to Adopt available! Please reach out with any questions!

Meet Bitty! Age: Approximately 1 year old. Breed: whippet/mix. Size: 25lbs Training: Crate & leash trained, and doing well with house training on our schedule. Good with dogs/cats? Yes to both. Good with men/women/kids? Yes. Personality: shy at first, but warms up to be friendly, affectionate, and playful. She is submissive. Reason for rescue: unclaimed stray. A sweet lady took her in temporarily, but she wasn't a long term match. She is spayed, microchipped, heartworm negative, and current on all vaccinations and preventatives. If you are interested in adding this sweet girl to your family, please message us to request an adoption application. Adoption fee: $95 Bitty is approximately 1 year old, weighs just 25 lbs, and is believed to be a Whippet mix! This sweet girl was found wandering around a manufacturing plant. One of the workers took her home in hopes of reuniting her with her family, but unfortunately, nobody ever came forward. Unable to keep her, the finder reached out to us for help, and that's how Bitty became part of the Mercy Rescue Haven family! Bitty has since been spayed, fully vetted, and is ready to find a family of her very own! She is great with other dogs, cats, AND kids! Bitty is a very submissive girl, especially when meeting new people or adjusting to unfamiliar situations. She will need a patient, understanding family willing to continue building her confidence and working on her training. But don't let her timid nature fool you. This little girl has SO much potential! With patience, love, and a little guidance, we believe Bitty will blossom into an absolutely wonderful companion. At just 25 lbs, she's the perfect little size with a whole lot of love to give! Charlie - The Big-Eared Sweetie Pie Imagine this tiny puppy, hungry and frightened, with no idea where he is or why the people he trusted left him behind. That was Charlie’s reality when he was found dumped and abandoned on a beach in Puerto Rico. 😢 He was scared. He was hungry. And he was all alone. But then someone stopped and saw him. Someone cared. And little by little, Charlie began to discover that the world could be a kind place after all. ❤️ Today, this adorable little boy is showing his foster family what a sweet soul he truly is. Charlie is super gentle, incredibly loving, and absolutely precious — especially those BIG, adorable ears! 🥹🐾 He loves being around people and is wonderful with kids, cats, and other dogs. He has so much love to give and just needs what every puppy deserves: a safe home, a soft place to sleep, and someone who will never abandon him again. Charlie is currently in Puerto Rico with his foster family, who adore him and know he will be a wonderful addition to any family. He is so full of love and fun! His adoption fee includes transportation to anywhere in the mainland US (except the west coast). Charlie has already survived the hardest part of his story. Now he’s waiting for the part where he gets his happily ever after. 💙 Charlie is ready for his forever family.
