Story
Maizy was a stray who started sleeping on my sister’s patio furniture. She lived with my sister for a year. She is a 19 lb, short haired, champion snuggler and loves with all her heart, once she knows you. My sister was in a life altering car accident and cannot care for herself let alone Maizy. We are fostering her until a more suitable home can be found. We live in a small condo with a 9 year old terrier mix, they get along but Maizy is an energetic, athletic 4 year old just hitting her stride. She loves doggy day care and the dog park. She has done great with training in reducing her reactivity and has learned place, heel, off and sit. She comes with a free training session (local to Triad) to help the transition as well as a crate, bed, collar, leash, toys and flea and tick preventive until September. She is healthy in all ways, eats canned and dry dog food, will work for treats and loves to run and be with her people. She is triggered by bicycles and running children.
