Story
Toffee is an incredibly loving gal looking for her furever family. She’s approx. 3 years old, and a mix of various breeds, including lab, whippet, & bulldog. She is on the smaller side of medium (approx 40lbs) and has beautiful, unique markings that turn heads everywhere she goes! Toffee is good with other dogs; she loves to play - she would be fine with or without a sibling in her new home. She is housetrained, crate trained, respectful on leash, & knows her basic commands. Toffee is very food motivated & eager to please, which has helped make training a breeze. She also loves car rides! She enjoys being by your side, but shows no signs of separation anxiety when left alone. She enjoys being in her crate & will happily go in whenever asked. Toffee is being fostered near Guelph, ON. Her adoption fee is $750CAD and covers her spay, vaccines, microchip, deworming, & up to date on parasite prevention. She will also be sent to her new home with a go-bag of goodies to help her settle in!

Story
All About Me Name: Kara Age: 3 years old Gender: Female Spayed: Yes Breed: Whippet Mix Color: Brindle Weight: 18 kg / 40 lbs Height (to shoulder): 53 cm   Hi, I’m Kara! With my long legs, graceful build, and beautiful brindle coat, I turn heads everywhere I go but it’s my heart that truly shines. I came from a illegal breeding facility, but that’s far behind me now. For over a year, I’ve been living in a lovely pet hotel where I’ve learned what it means to play, connect, and enjoy life in a safe and loving environment.   My Health I’m up to date on all five core vaccines, and I’ve even had antibody testing done. I’ve been spayed, had a dental cleaning, and taken X-rays to make sure everything’s in tip-top shape. I don’t have any allergies or ongoing conditions, and I’ve tested negative for heartworm (though a follow-up test is a good idea, just to be sure!).I do have a few tiny marks that tell stories from my past a small scar on my nose, a notch on one ear, and a little nick on the end of my tail but they don’t bother me one bit.   My Personality I’m a curious, affectionate, and social girl who loves people. I may take a few moments to warm up, but offer me a treat and I’ll gladly take it from your hand and soon enough, I’ll be leaning in for gentle pets and even rolling over to show my belly. I’m very comfortable being picked up and carried, especially if it helps me feel secure in new situations. I haven’t met young children yet, but I have no hesitation with adults I approach with an open heart and a wagging tail, ready to be your friend.   Social Skills - With People: I truly enjoy human company. Whether it’s a familiar face or someone new, I like to say hello and connect. Once I get to know you, I’m all about affection and companionship - With Other Dogs: I’ve spent a lot of time around other dogs at my daycare, and I get along well with most pups especially those around my size or a little bigger. I enjoy playing in groups, though I tend to form bonds with specific friends and stick close to them. Super high-energy dogs can be a bit much for me at first, but I know how to politely give space when needed. - With Cats: I haven’t met any cats, but I have shown interest in birds during walks. I’d likely try to chase them if given the chance.   On My Walks‍ I love being outside! I have a high energy level, so daily walks and outdoor play help me stay happy and balanced. I’m curious and love sniffing everything, so I may pause here and there to take it all in. I can get a little excited and pull on the leash at times, but I’m eager to learn and follow my person’s lead.   Life at Home I’m full of life and love, and I do best when I have ways to channel my energy whether that’s through walks, enrichment, or play. When I get excited or a little bored, I sometimes like to chew on soft things like blankets or even my clothes, so providing me with chew-safe toys and keeping an eye on my environment helps a lot! I don’t guard my meals or treats. I may bark a little if I’m trying to communicate something (like “Hey! Can we go out now?”), but I’m just expressing myself. I’m used to car rides, though I feel more comfortable if I’m being held or reassured during the ride. And when it comes to potty habits, I’m flexible I know how to go outside, but I’m also pad-trained if that’s what works best for you.   My Ideal Home   I’m looking for an active and loving home that can offer both companionship and adventure. I’d thrive with a person or family who enjoys being outdoors, who understands high-energy dogs like me, and who can offer a bit of structure alongside lots of affection. A few things that would make my perfect home: - A family who loves both playtime and cuddle time - A secure environment with soft spots to rest and safe toys to chew - Maybe a dog sibling around my size and energy level—but I’d be just as happy soaking up all the love as a solo pup   If you're ready for a loyal, affectionate, and playful companion who will be your best friend through every season, I’m right here waiting for you.   For More YouTube Clips, Click Here! Story
PLEASE READ TULA’S BIO IN DETAIL TO ENSURE THAT SHE WILL BE A GOOD FIT FOR YOU AND YOUR LIFESTYLE BEORE APPLYING. PEASE NOTE: TULA IS BEING FOSTERED IN THE OTTAWA ON AREA We at All Paws Matter believe in the benefits of post-adoption training for our dogs and their families. This allows for continued socialization, learning and helps to create a well-mannered and balanced dog. This is now a requirement in our adoption process. Proof of training classes for puppies specifically is required before adoption. NAME: Tula Age: 8 months Breed: Mexi-Mix Sex: Weight: lbs Location: OTTAWA ON Adoption fee: $600.00 Spayed/Neutered: Yes Leash trained: Work in progress House trained: Yes Kids/Cats/Dogs: Yes to gentle dogs, cats no, children 10+ Vetting: Up to date on all vaccination, sterilized, microchipped, 4dx tested: negative for Heart worm. Currently on flea/tick/heart worm prevention, dewormed and vet checked before arriving. Medical Issues: Pins in Spine Comes with 4 weeks free pet insurance (after initial vet visit) Meet Tula – Our Wiggly Warrior Princess This sweet 9 month old pup may be tiny, but her heart is mighty. Tula survived being hit by a car while wandering alone on the streets, her spine fractured but not her spirit. After emergency surgery and weeks of healing, she’s now full of love, playful energy, and an unforgettable wiggle when she walks. Despite a painful past, Tula greets each day with hope in her eyes and a tail that never stops wagging. She adores gentle dogs of all sizes and melts at the sight of kindness. She’s fully crate trained, house trained, and makes a wonderful companion. Her perfect forever home? Someone patient, loving, and gentle—ready to help her feel safe and blossom at her own pace. She’s still shy around strangers, but her trust grows with time and care. No cats, please (she loves the chase!) and because of her puppy exuberance and injury history, a home with older, respectful children would be best. A home with a fenced in yard would be just what she needs, no apartments or condos. Tula’s been through a lot, but she’s ready for her happiest chapter yet. Could you be the one to write it with her? If so, please email allpawsmatteradopt@outlook.com so we can send you an adoption application as our website is being reconstructed. All APM dogs are UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, spayed or neutered, dewormed, Heart worm (4dx snap) tested and arrive with a health certificate. They come to adopter with a harness, a collar and two leashes for safety. NOTE: The above description is relevant to this dog in its current and previous setting. Home changes and adopter personalities can bring out different behaviours not previously seen. We also do not claim or suggest that our dogs are hypo-allergenic or that they shed/do not shed. BREED DISCLAIMER: We are never sure of the breed of our dogs since they arrive off the streets or shelters. It is a guess only!
