Story
Copper is a 4 year old Whippet, Jack Russel, Iggy mix. He is the sweetest, most loving and gentle boy. My mom got him as a puppy when she lost her husband, and he was a good companion to her. His need for activity and socialization helped get her out of the house and chatting with neighbors, but she passed away last fall and now Copper needs a new home. He loves to stay close by to his people and needs to be with a person or family who will give him lots of attention. He would do well in a home with a fenced in yard or with options to run around, because he was built for it!! VERY social towards people and other dogs, but he uses barking to show his excitement and express himself, and that will need to be trained. Copper enjoys burrowing under covers and snuggling, and will enjoy curling up on the couch beneath a blanket.
