Story
Meet Radcliff: Radcliff is about a 2 year old (as of June 2026) whippet / hound / collie (best guess?) small dog mix that weighs 21 pounds. Radcliff was brought into a Memphis animal shelter and after no interest found himself on the dreaded “list”. Our rescue heard of him and were able to find a place for him before it was too late! Radcliff is currently being fostered in the south and would love to take the freedom ride north to Pennsylvania to meet more prospective families. Radcliff is as gentle and loving as he is petite. Those big blue eyes look at you deeply and tell you he will be a good and loyal pet. Radcliff doesn't bark excessively and doesn't chew up the furniture or shoes that are left lying around. Radcliff gets along well with other dogs and walks pretty well on a leash. Radcliff is currently house trained to a doggie door and may need patience while adjusting to a new process. We would love for Radcliff to have a home with a fenced in yard so he can run and play freely, but it is not a requirement. Radcliff is up to date on his shots and neutered. If you are interested in loving this striking little buddy, please go to Charlie’s Crusaders website (www.charliescrusaders.org) to fill out an application. CURRENT LOCATION: Arkansas, awaiting transport to PA ##2763058##

Story
Ada was adopted in 12/2020 from a rescue shelter. She was estimated to be around 1 year at the time and had at least 1 litter of puppies by then. Her past has caused her to have some mild anxiety, but when familiar people are around, she's calm. She's a great companion for hikes and while she's good with other dogs, she does tend to bark at them while on walks. She's great with kids, but is generally timid around unfamiliar people. Highly food motivated, very trainable, and has good recall. She prefers to sleep in your bed, but is fine to sleep in her own bed as long as it's in the same room. Fenced-in yard is a must. She's licensed, up to date with her rabies shots, and has been routinely tested for heartworm. She hasn't had a routine dose of flea/tick/heartworm meds and she doesn't have several shots other than rabies and distemper. She's fed gently cooked food and we'll provide enough supply to transition her to another food if desired. We can provide a dog bed, leash, and collar.
