Story
Ada was adopted in 12/2020 from a rescue shelter. She was estimated to be around 1 year at the time and had at least 1 litter of puppies by then. Her past has caused her to have some mild anxiety, but when familiar people are around, she's calm. She's a great companion for hikes and while she's good with other dogs, she does tend to bark at them while on walks. She's great with kids, but is generally timid around unfamiliar people. Highly food motivated, very trainable, and has good recall. She prefers to sleep in your bed, but is fine to sleep in her own bed as long as it's in the same room. Fenced-in yard is a must. She's licensed, up to date with her rabies shots, and has been routinely tested for heartworm. She hasn't had a routine dose of flea/tick/heartworm meds and she doesn't have several shots other than rabies and distemper. She's fed gently cooked food and we'll provide enough supply to transition her to another food if desired. We can provide a dog bed, leash, and collar.

Charlie was left at the shelter when he was just a few weeks old, so he takes a little time to learn to trust new people, but once he knows you, get ready for snuggles and kisses! He learns things super quick and is very food motivated (especially peanut butter!)
