Story
Jax is sweet, high-energy, and playful. He is submissive and quirky, therefore can disarm even the most aggressive dogs. We used to take him to the dog park frequently and it is his favorite place to be. He is hilarious to watch and will often initiate an entire pack of dogs to play chase. He is best paired with other high energy dogs who can match his speed, wrestling madness and boxing ability but also does well with small dogs and our cat at home. He is good around kids. He loves to fetch (but doesn't bring the ball back), loves to run (but not jog because he likes to smell the grass and eat it sometimes along the way so will stop frequently), he l loves tough chew toys and will chew on them for hours, loves to run alongside us on bikes, loves to cuddle, and loves being close to his owners most of all.

All children in the home must be at least 5 years of age. We appreciate your understanding of these policies. Jade, medium Heinz 57 mix. She has quite a story! She was sort of owned by a neighbor of one of our rescue friends in South TX. When Jade got pregnant and the pups started getting bigger they reached out to our rescue to help save Jade and her three puppies. After Jade arrived at RT4P she took her first trip to the vet office, in February where she jumped out of the vehicle and ran away. We searched for her for several months. We did not find her at the time but In the month of December, she appeared on a Nextdoor app posting. Someone had found her and taken her to Dallas animal services. Her fosters rushed to pick her up and bring her home. It was a miracle. See…. We told you this girl had a story! Jade is now ready for her forever home. She’s a calm girl that would enjoy a slow pace home. She would be a great walking companion. She is kennel, trained, and housebroken. Darling is a Whippet/Black Mouth Cur mix. She's a little shy at first but warms up quick and is a sweetheart. She loves having dog friends to play with. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. Our dogs are also heartworm negative (or we will cover their treatment). Meet Thelma! She is a 1yr old beautiful golden eyed female Staffordshire Bull/American Staffordshire Terrier mix that weighs 36lbs. She came into the shelter on 10/2 as a stray. Reviewing her pictures through dog scanner, stated there may also be cattle dog in the mix. No matter, she is a very sweet gentle loving pup. She can be shy initially, but given some time she becomes your BFF. She walks well on a leash, takes treats gently and maybe housetrained. She has been very well cared for as can be seen in her clean, soft fur. She loves to be petted and loved on, will give you kisses on your hand, and will sneak a kiss or two on your face. She didn`t show much interest in toys, and the squeaky ones seemed to frighten her. As other dogs were barking at her, she didn`t show any interest, as she wanted to go out into the yard to stretch her legs. While out in the yard she had a burst of the zoomies, with her ears up and a big smile on her face. She hopes to find her own loving family soon, a secured yard to play in, but definitely be an indoor pup as she is a great cuddlebug! You couldn`t ask for a more loyal loving companion!
