Meet Roxy! Roxy is a 5.5 month old, 20 lb Puerto Rican Sato with the most beautiful bright eyes, expressive ears, and a constantly wagging tail. Like many island dogs, she is likely a wonderful mix of many breeds, but what stands out most is her incredibly sweet personality. This lovable girl is adjusting beautifully to foster life. Roxy is super affectionate and loves to play, cuddle, get belly rubs, and spend time with her people once she feels comfortable. She can be timid at first in new surroundings or when meeting new people and dogs, but with a little patience her playful and loving personality quickly shines through. Roxy absolutely loves toys of all kinds and enjoys relaxing in the sunshine out on the porch. She’s also doing great with leash walks, rides nicely in the car, and sleeps comfortably in her crate throughout the night. She is making wonderful progress with potty training and has had only minimal accidents while settling in. Her foster is continuing to help her learn how to communicate when she needs to go outside. Overall, Roxy is blossoming into a wonderful family companion and would make a fantastic addition to a loving home willing to continue building her confidence and showing her the good life We expect Roxy to grow into the perfect medium-sized companion when fully grown. This fun, loving, exuberant girl is Beanie. Beanie was brought to us when the woman who saved her off of the streets could no longer keep her. Beanie is full of energy. She would love nothing more than to be part of an active family who takes her along on life`s adventures. Beanie loves to go on walks and play with her favorite people outdoors. She is potty, crate and leashed trained. Unfortunately, she is very reactive to other dogs, so she has to be the only dog in the household.
