Story
Peanut was born in October 2019 and we adopted him in October 2020 from a shelter. He’s a really loving dog and likes to stay close to his people. If you sit down, he’s either going to lay right next to you or try to get in your lap. He enjoys walks, learning little tricks, and laying out in the sun. When we first got him, he had some separation anxiety, especially being left alone outside, but he’s come a long way. Now he’s fine as long as he can see you or knows you’re nearby. He’s definitely more of an inside dog and prefers being in the house with the family. He’s great with kids and has done well around other dogs. He’s fully potty trained and will go to the door when he needs to go out. Peanut has a funny personality and will “talk back” sometimes when you tell him no. He knows basic commands like sit, shake, high five, lay down, leave it, outside, and kennel. He just needs a home where he’ll get attention and be part of the family.
