Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Bonnie 🌼🐾💛 I’m a sweet, gentle girl with a soft heart and a loving personality. I can be a little shy when we first meet, but I just like to take my time getting to know new people. Once I trust you, though, I am all yours—loyal, affectionate, and always excited to see you when you come home 🥰 I love being near my people and will happily hang out wherever you are. I’m not overly clingy, but I like knowing you’re close. I have great leash manners, get along with everyone I meet, and I’m growing more confident every day. I’m the kind of dog who forms deep, meaningful bonds and just wants to feel safe, loved, and included. My story is a special one. I had puppies of my own, but sadly, they didn’t make it. Not long after, I met Clyde—a tiny bottle baby kitten who didn’t have a mama. Something just clicked between us, and I took him in as my own. Since then, we’ve been inseparable. I watch over him, and he brings out a brave, happy side of me. We truly help each other feel safe. My ideal home would be a patient, loving family who understands I may need a little time to open up fully—and who would consider keeping me with my best friend Clyde. Together, we bring out the very best in each other. A little note from my foster: Bonnie is such a gentle, loving soul. Her bond with Clyde is incredibly special—it’s pure, healing, and something truly beautiful to witness 🌷🐾💛 I am a bonded pair with Clyde the Cat! Adoption FEE: $400, which includes her spay, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals. Story
PLEASE READ THE ANIMAL’S PROFILE AND ALL NOTES BELOW BEFORE APPLYING! Hi, I’m Pinky 🐾 I’m a 9-year-old wire-haired terrier and an easygoing, sweet guy who just wants to enjoy life with my people. I’m calm, loving, and loyal, and I get along great with dogs of all sizes and kids, too. I don’t bark much, I’m well-mannered in the home, and I’m already crate trained, potty trained, leash trained, and non-destructive—basically the full package 💛 I may be a senior, but I still have plenty of life in me! I absolutely LOVE long walks—this is when I really come to life. I also enjoy playing a bit and then coming home to relax and unwind. I’m just as happy being active as I am being your laid-back couch companion. I’m still learning a few things like basic commands and navigating stairs (they can be a bit tricky for me), so a home with minimal stairs would be best. I’m also working on getting up on the couch, but I’ll get there with a little help! My ideal home would be calm and loving, with someone who is home more often than not. While I can be left alone, I really thrive when I have company and a consistent routine. I’d do great in an apartment or a house, especially with a yard or access to places where I can enjoy my walks. I’d be happy in a small family or a home with other pets—as long as there’s love and a peaceful environment. A little note from my foster: Pinky is truly the definition of an easy, sweet companion. Give him some walks, a ball to chase, and a calm home, and he will absolutely thrive 🐾💛 Adoption FEE: $150, which includes his neuter, microchip, and vaccines. It is also a donation to go directly back to us to help us continue to rescue more animals.  Filling out an application from our web site at www.caninecastaways.org  is the first step in adopting a new furry family member.IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN ADOPTING THE FIRST STEP IS TO FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION ON OUR WEBSITE AT:   https://www.caninecastaways.org/adoption-application IF A PET IS LISTED THEN THEY ARE AVAILABLE - WE KEEP OUR LISTINGS UP TO DATE AND REMOVE AS SOON AS ADOPTED. NAME:  Kip BREED:  Poodle/terrier mix SEX:  male COLOR:  cream/white AGE:  2 yrs as of Sept 2025 WEIGHT:  10 lbs FOSTERED BY: LOCATED IN: NOTES FROM FOSTER FAMILY: Meet Kip! Kip is a sweet, energetic, cozy-loving pup who’s all about the simple joys in life. He absolutely loves blankets and is happiest curled up on a blanket on the couch, taking a nap right next to his people. When it’s time for bath day, Kip is easygoing and doesn’t mind getting warm baths at all—he’s a very polite boy! When he’s not relaxing, Kip’s energetic side shines. He enjoys zoomies in the yard, a good game of fetch, chewing on bones, and playing with his toys—though fair warning: his toys need to be stuffing-less, because if there’s stuffing inside, Kip will happily pull it out. He also loves playing with other little dogs and is comfortable around big dogs. He does great sharing space with no food aggression or resource guarding, and Kip is great with kids, making him a wonderful family companion. Kip has been through a lot in his past, including being hit by a car, but you’d never know it—his injuries don’t slow him down or dampen his happy spirit at all. To help him feel his best during playtime, he may benefit from having carpet or rugs throughout the house so he has good traction while running and playing. After dinner, Kip’s favorite routine is winding down with a good brushing (especially when he’s tired), and he never misses a chance to bark at cows if any are nearby—it’s one of his favorite “jobs.” Kip would do wonderfully in a home that enjoys both playtime and cuddle time. If you’re looking for an energetic yet snuggly companion who’s equally happy fetching a ball or snoozing on a blanket, Kip might be your perfect match.  If you are interested in adopting please complete our Adoption Application by copying and pasting the following link into your web browser: http://www.caninecastaways.org/adoption-application For a full list of dogs we currently have for adoption use this link:  https://www.caninecastaways.org/adoptable-dogs MEDICAL INFO: The following has been or will be done for this dog... - Basic Exam by Veterinarian - Spayed or Neutered - Heartworm Tested - Placed on heartworm preventive - Basic Bloodwork - Urinalysis - Microchipped - Intestinal Parasite Exam and medication - Vaccinations - Placed on Flea preventive ADOPTION DONATION: $300 This adoption donation helps to cover the vet expenses for this dog including heartworm preventive which is dispensed at the initial vet visit and then goes with the dog at adoption.
