After spending two weeks as strays, they stuck together through thick and thin, showcasing an unbreakable loyalty. Tonks is a 3-4 year old spirited terrier mix, and Corduroy is 3-4 year old lovable poodle mix. Both girls have great temperaments and are affectionate with people, and other dogs. Both might need time to gain confidence around larger dogs but do great after slow introductions. Both are crate trained and about 95% potty trained and eager to learn more. Corduroy and Tonks both need supervision and reminders as they continue their journey. This dynamic duo is ready for a loving forever home where they can thrive together, bringing joy and companionship to their new family.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.Last Day Dog Rescue now microchips all animals before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting. Please understand that statements made regarding this animal are simply overviews and are not guaranteed. The Petfinder.com system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed mix for our animals. Visual breed identification in animals is unreliable so for most of the animals we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each animal as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our animals based on personality, not by breed label. Thank you for looking through our list of animals needing forever homes and choosing rescue first. We appreciate you stopping by. January 24, 2026, 8:22 am

Once she’s comfortable, her loving personality shines through. Sadie is currently a little on the heavier side and is working hard on getting her summer body back, so she’d do great with a family excited to join her on walks, playtime, and a healthy routine. Story
💜 Meet Violet! 💜 Violet is a sweet, soulful girl with the softest eyes and the biggest heart. This lovely lady is a bit on the curvy side right now (she’s been enjoying life!), and she has some mild stiffness in her back legs related to early joint changes. Violet still gets around well and enjoys her daily routines—she just benefits from a steady pace, comfy bedding, and support in maintaining a healthy weight. Most days, her comfort can be managed with low-impact exercise and routine care, but adopters should know that if her clinical signs worsen or cannot be comfortably managed, Violet may require an exploratory arthrotomy in the future. With attentive care and lots of love, Violet will thrive as a loyal, gentle companion. She’s happiest relaxing nearby, soaking up affection, and sharing quiet moments with her people. If you’re looking for a calm, loving best friend for cozy days and leisurely strolls, Violet may be the perfect match. 🐾💜 - Around 2 years old - Currently 28lbs and going down - Good with kids, cats and dogs - Adoption fee: $175 To inquire about this dog, please email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com.
