Meet Nala! 🐾 Nala is a Wirehaired Terrier Mix who’s looking for a loving home, a long-term rescue placement, or a sanctuary where she can share her joyful and playful spirit. Despite having some medical needs, this sweet girl is full of life and happiness 🙂 Nala came into rescue with diabetes and EPI, which is easily managed with two insulin shots and a special supplement with her meals twice a day, which helps keep her in great shape and ready for fun! **Her care costs $400/month** Nala adores playing with kids, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is perfectly fine with cats. She’s a versatile companion who can fit into various households. Nala’s ideal placement can take many forms: a forever home ready to embrace her needs, a long-term rescue committed to her ongoing care, or a sanctuary that can provide her with stability and love. Meet Chase — a pint-sized rocket with a big personality and endless zoomies! 🚀🐾 This adorable Jack Russell mix puppy is around 10 months old and came to us after being found out on his own by the Fillmore County Sheriff. Chase is everything you’d expect from his breed: energetic, smart, curious, and always ready for action. Chase is looking for a home with someone familiar with Jack Russell–type energy and drive. He loves to chase squirrels and rabbits, so a secure, fenced yard would be ideal. He would really enjoy puppy classes to continue working on manners and to provide important mental stimulation. Chase does best when he has plenty of appropriate chew toys, and his future family should plan to puppy-proof the home. He already knows how to sit, seems familiar with potty pads, and is doing well with potty training. He sleeps nicely in a kennel at night and enjoys the company of other dogs. He’s still learning his play manners but holds his own even with bigger dogs. Chase enjoys walks but may try to chase squirrels along the way, and loud trucks can be a bit scary for him — he’s still gaining confidence. He loves chew toys, squeaky toys, food, and playtime, and he’s always ready for his next adventure.
