Story
Three is company, don't let anyone tell you otherwise. Why are we talking about 3? Because Romeo + Pebbles, plus you! These two are a charming, cuddly couple. They are 10-year-old Rat terriers who come as a pair. What is better than a lap dog? Obviously, two lap dogs! They will definitely join you on the couch or in your favorite chair, and they both love to be petted. That's why you have two hands, one for each doggie. Pebbles is kind of the reluctant leader of the two, and she is pretty independent. Romeo likes to know where Pebbles is, but he'll leave her side to get lovins and attention from people. He can be a bit timid with new people, but he'll warm up and especially when Pebbles is happy to greet people. Romeo will always tell you when someone is at the door or when someone new has entered the picture, but he's just trying to be helpful and settles down quickly. They're really a cute little pair and unfortunately for Pebbles, they look a bit like Jack Sprat and his wife (Jack Sprat can eat no fat, his wife can eat no lean....). She is obese at 25 lbs. and will need your help to slim down healthily so she can move around more easily. Romeo has the cutest short legs and a snaggle tooth that gets caught on his lip. They get along with other dogs, though Pebbles might occasionally growl if they get in her face. So, they'll share their humans, but good luck to whomever else is competing for your lap or the snuggliest place in the bed at night, because their cuddling game is strong. Romeo and Pebbles are house trained, neutered/spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and on heartworm preventative and flea/tick prevention. Come and knock on our door if you think three's company, and apply to adopt them at PawsitiveTailsKC.org!
