Story
Lucas is a young wirehaired terrier mix who has moved past the puppy stage and is ready to settle into life as someone’s loyal companion. He’d like you to know one thing right up front: Lucas has one good eye. It doesn’t slow him down or dampen his spirit one bit—and he’s hoping you’ll look past it and see the sweet, lovable boy he is. Lucas is new to WAG, so we’re still learning all about his personality. What we already know is that he’s truly adorable and ready for a fresh start with a family who will care for him and love him for exactly who he is. To set up a no-obligation meet and greet with Lucas, please visit wimberleywagrescue.org and fill out an application. We can’t wait for you to meet this special boy!

**Courtesy Post**Larry is not a Russell Rescue dog. Russell Rescue is only assisting with placement. All inquiries should be directed to Larry’s owner at tpontiff19@gmail.com ** Say hello to Larry. He’s about a year old and is in great physical condition. He’s neutered and vaccinated. Larry needs another home. He’s not real fond of other dogs so being an “only child” will be right up his alley! He will be able to have all the love and attention. Larry is still so young that he is going to need a lot of attention and training. He needs a patient owner and someone who is willing to be kind and loving with him. His new owner needs a securely fenced yard. No electronic fencing, and no wrought iron unless it is screened. If you are interested in Larry, you will need to go to RussellRescue.com and fill out the online adoption application. Larry is not a Russell Rescue dog. Russell Rescue is only assisting with placement. All inquiries should be directed to Larry’s owner at tpontiff19@gmail.com His owner is asking a small rehoming fee. Larry lives in Austin, Texas and his new owner will need to drive there to get him.

Story
We just can't say no to a gorgeous, very good boy in need, and when it's a dynamic duo of real dog legginess needing saving, then we are doubly inclined to step in.A bulldog rescue we are, and these boys are nothing if not the most honorary bulldogs, because we here feel like sometimes 'bulldog' is just a state of mind. Skippy and his best pal Locke are the dogs that anyone has been looking for to show off about town and amaze their friends and strangers alike with the perfection of their pets.Silly, snuggly, snuffly, and sweet; equal parts active and adorable, we can't get enough of these bois.True to breed and to form, little Skippy is the more feisty of the two. He's got a little spice to him and is happy to mess with his big brother to entertain himself. He's your typical big dog in a small body, so he will be sure to keep his lucky humans on their toes with his antics. Skippy and his brother were once 100% part of a family. They are both 'risiculously' potty trained and have the best house manners. They are practically perfect and are the ideal duo of real dogs that a bit of a more active family might be looking for.   To see more of our dogs, please go to https://austinbulldogrescue.com to see who is available and to learn how to get involved with ABR.
