Jasper is a sweet 12-year-old Terrier mix weighing around 59 pounds, and he is searching for a forever home where he can spend his golden years surrounded by the love and care he deserves. Jasper came to the rescue from the Bell County Animal Shelter after being surrendered by his owner. His owner’s wife had passed away, and he eventually had to move into a nursing home where he could no longer care for Jasper. This was not because Jasper wasn’t loved. His family found themselves in a heartbreaking situation and wanted to make sure he was safe. Now, Jasper is being cared for while he waits for the forever family he so deserves. Jasper is a happy, sweet-natured boy who loves going outside and is house-trained. He does well with other dogs, and we are still learning more about his personality as he settles in. At 59 pounds, Jasper could stand to lose a little weight, but with healthy meals, gentle walks, and a family to keep him moving, he will be on the right track. What we already know is that Jasper has a truly sweet spirit and so much love left to give. At 12 years old, he should not have to wonder what happened to his family or where he belongs. He deserves a soft place to land, a comfortable bed, someone to take him outside, and a family who will remind him every day that he is still deeply loved. Jasper may be a senior, but his heart is full of hope. He is ready to give his love to someone who will cherish him for the rest of his life. Is a 7 year or Wirefox Terrier mix. He is an absolute gentleman who loves all dogs and people. Fergus sits patiently waiting for his food or treats, has perfect car manners and loves to go on rides and walks. Fergus is not a big into playing, but can occasionally be talked into a wrestling match. Yes housebroken and kennel trained, but would also love to sleep in your bed. Fergus loves to cuddle with his human. He is neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, is on flea and tick prevention, and has been treated for heartworms.

Cowboy is in boarding and safe but needs his own home. He is bonded with beautiful Timber a Chessie/Chocolate Lab. They are very close, sweet natured, great with all people and kids. He is a lovely dog and so very gentle. Both dogs are kenneled together and need a little help with home crate training and learning the schedule for outdoor potty.
