Now I lay on their legs to relax and sometimes I even get a little belly rub. I can get quite excited, jumping up and down, and then sit nicely for a treat. When do we get to meet?

Adoption Donation: $600 All dogs are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, heartworm tested (if age appropriate), and up-to-date on preventatives at the time of adoption. All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present to be able to adopt. A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption. Appointments are recommended. All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family. Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. Sweet momma, Utopia and her five day old pups were one day away from being euthanized in a small south Texas animal control. Momma was scared and protective of her babies for a few days before she realized they were safe. NOW she is THE sweetest and most loving girl!! She is doing good with potty training and is good with dogs and cats. She likes going for drives and walks good on a leash. She's got the cutest little tuft of fur on her head. She's smart and likes to play. Her puppies are cattle dog mix. They are playful and happy. They prefer playing with each other but like their stuffed animals. They are working on pee pad training. They are currently around five pounds, and almost ready for their families!! Mama is likely a long haired/wire haired dachshund and the pups have the low rider qualities with heeler markings- ABSOLUTELY ADORABLE!! Any one of these pups or mama Utopia will make an awesome addition to your family... you have to take that first step... FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION!! Hurry, this family is ready!!! Local adoption fee is $350 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $650 (includes transport to your area)
