She would love a home with another dog that also likes to play and can match her energy! She loves everyone she meets but is she’s still young and working on her jumping and mouthiness when she gets excited. She would be best in a home with older kids until she learns more. Fiesta loves treats, toys, and going to the dog park to play fetch and meet new friends! She is very friendly with the other dogs and loves to play in the snow! Fiesta is doing well with house training! Apply to meet Fiesta and she will be ready to welcome you with lots of hugs and kisses!  Adoption Fee: $450We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433   ***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time, we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians. Our Weight Classes are as follows: 0- 25lbs - Small 26- 45lbs - Medium 46-89 - Large 90+ X-large If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped. If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs once they're at least 6 months old. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months, they will need to be spayed/neutered by your veterinarian when they are between 6 to 8 months old. Proof that the spay/neuter has been completed will need to be submitted to Tailwaggers911. Once proof of the spay/neuter has been received, we will refund $100 of your adoption fee via Venmo, PayPal or have a check in the mail within 15 days. Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home. If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home. If a dog is listed as ADOPTION IN PROCESS, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out. February 6, 2026, 12:08 am

Story
Let me tell you something. When I first came here, I was a little bit of a nervous wreck, not quite sure what to think of this place. Their amazing staff gave me time and took it slow. Now I lay on their legs to relax and sometimes I even get a little belly rub. I can get quite excited, jumping up and down, and then sit nicely for a treat. When do we get to meet?

Story
About Me: Name: Paru Tony Breed (or best guess): Mix - maybe Russell Terrier mix Approximate Age: 6 yr Gender: male Approximate Weight: 17 lb Adoption Fee: $495 Requirements: Loving Family, only pet Why In Rescue: Transfer from Texas Rescue Profile:  Paru Tony is an adorable shorthair mix.  He is friendly and playful and a favorite where ever he goes.  He has been good with both people and dogs but should be fed separately at least for now.  He is hoping to find a family of his own soon!  We don't know about his housetraining as most of the dogs that come to us from Texas spent most of their time outside before getting care for by a rescue group. What the caretakers have to say about Tony:  Tony is a calm, kind and affectionate dog who loves spending time with people.  Tony is a mostly quiet, low-energy dog who needs a moderate amount of exercise.  He likes to be outside for periods of time and he is leash trained.  Unfortunately, he can become resource protective especially with food and especially doesn't care for other male dogs (at least at the shelter). What a temporary foster had to say about Tony:  Tony is one of the sweetest, calmest, most adaptable dogs I've had in my home.  Anything you do is fine.  He loves to play, lie around, go for walks, whatever.  He does understand "no".  He was a little pushy when I was eating, but soon gave up.  He was great at my home, and when he was brought back to the shelter he just went right back to his kennel and played with his toys.  He can adapt to the situation he is put in. If you are looking for a great dog to be the one and only in your home, check out Tony! We do put the needs of the dog's first, so it is nothing personal if we determine a particular dog isn't suitable for your specific home and living situation. If interested in adoption, the first step is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  If link isn't clickable, please copy/paste or visit http://www.bichonrescues.com.  Please note, filling out inquiry forms on Petfinder or Adoptapet and/or their application forms does not constitute an application for one of our dogs.  Priority in responding to inquires and applications is always to the applications filled out on our website, time constraints limit the number of other inquires we can reply to. We do our best to evaluate the dogs while they are with us, but they sometimes act different in the shelter environment than they do in a home.  Many times we do not know the actual breed/mix or age of the dog, in that case we use our best guess as to breed and age.   We are located in Mukwonago, WI.  Adopters must come to us, we do not ship our dogs.  Please do not apply for a dog until you are ready to adopt.  Once an application is approved you will be notified by email to make an appointment to meet the dog.  All dogs are seen by appointment only. The adoption fee through Bichon and Little Buddies Rescue is $495 for most adults and up to $650 for puppies which includes Wi State Sales Tax.  Included in this fee is your new companion who will be spayed/neutered, have a current Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (as required by state law), current on age appropriate vaccinations, heartworm tested (if old enough) and started on preventative, microchipped, and given a general wormer.  Other medical needs will also have been taken care of, such as dentals and treating ear infections.  To assist you and your new pet in adjusting to life together, you may chose to take an 8 week age appropriate obedience training course at For Pet's Sake Dog Training in Mukwonago, WI for $100 (up to $260 value).  You may opt to take Puppy Kindergarten, Adult Beginners, or Small Dogs Big Hearts.  You must register for the class within 90 days of adoption for the reduced fee.  For more information on the classes visit www.forpetssake.cc  More important information: ***We are a Wisconsin based rescue and do not ship our pets.  If you are considering adoption you must be willing to drive to meet and adopt the pet, as well as bring the pet back to us if the adoption doesn't work.  We adopt primarily in WI and IL, but will consider applicants in MN, IA, and MI.*** ***Please do not set up an appointment to meet the animals until you are ready to take your pet home.  If the meeting results in a match, you can often take the dog/cat home the same day or within a couple days if the medical care hasn't been completed.  We are not able to hold pets for adopters beyond this time.  Thanks for understanding.*** ***While we hope all of our adoptions lead to permanent homes for the animals we place, sometimes things just don't work out.  We do have a 30 day trial period.  For the first 30 days, if you or Bichon and Little Buddies decide that the adoption isn't a good match for either the humans or the pet, the adoption fee will be refunded minus $100 within 30 days of the return of the dog.  Bichon and Little Buddies also requires adopters to return the pet to us at any time that they are unable or unwilling to care for the animal anymore.*** ***We do not show dogs without an appointment.  The first step in adoption is filling out the pre-adoption application at http://www.bichonrescues.com/pre-adoption-form-dog  Please do not call/email until AFTER you have filled out an application.*** Bichon and Little Buddies is a State Licensed Rescue # 268555-DS January 10, 2026, 2:59 pm

Story
About Me: Name: Willow Ava Breed (or best guess): Terrier mix Approximate Age: 3 yr Gender: Female Approximate Weight: 13 lb Adoption Fee: $495 Requirements: Loving Family with no cats Why In Rescue: stray/lost dog Profile:  Willow Ava was found as a stray/lost dog in Milwaukee County and no one came for her so she is looking for a new family.  We don't have a history or background on her and breed/age are our best guesses.  Willow is a sweet dog just waiting for a home of her own.  Willow was adopted and returned because she didn't do well with the family's cats and larger dog.  She will need to have a dog meet if a family has another dog in the family as she did fine with the other shelter dogs she has meet but not the adopters dog. We do put the needs of the dog's first, so it is nothing personal if we determine a particular dog isn't suitable for your specific home and living situation.
