Meet Nala! 🐾 Nala is a Wirehaired Terrier Mix who’s looking for a loving home, a long-term rescue placement, or a sanctuary where she can share her joyful and playful spirit. Despite having some medical needs, this sweet girl is full of life and happiness 🙂 Nala came into rescue with diabetes and EPI, which is easily managed with two insulin shots and a special supplement with her meals twice a day, which helps keep her in great shape and ready for fun! **Her care costs $400/month** Nala adores playing with kids, gets along wonderfully with other dogs, and is perfectly fine with cats. She’s a versatile companion who can fit into various households. Nala’s ideal placement can take many forms: a forever home ready to embrace her needs, a long-term rescue committed to her ongoing care, or a sanctuary that can provide her with stability and love. Hi, my name is Sadie! I'm a 3-year-old female jack russel terrier mix. I am current on my vaccines, heartworm tested, spayed, and microchipped. 3 words that describe me: Energetic, Curious, Affectionate Things staff and volunteers have to say about me: I can be a little shy at first but once I know you I'm super sweet! I have lots of energy and love to run around! I'd make a great new family member for an active household. Activity level/Energy Level: (1-10): 8/10 Housetraining Status: I am housetrained! I should do well in a home: I will need to meet any dogs in my potential home before adoption. I should do well with children of all ages given proper supervision. I have never met a cat before. My favorite activities are: Running around outside, chasing toys, and getting love from my humans! Things I need work on are: I do tend to have some separation anxiety when left alone, so I will need an owner willing to work with me on that. I could use some work on my basic commands as well. Any special needs: N/A Doggy day out notes: "She was amazing!! She was very well behaved and full of energy. She loved playing fetch with a squeaky toy and was so affectionate. Sadie was an absolute angel!!" "We went for an hour walk and a short drive, she is very sweet and friendly! She listened so well and knew the sit command. She was also very gentle and great in the car. She did pull a little on leash but nothing too bad" "She was amazing!! She was very well behaved and full of energy. She loved playing fetch with a squeaky toy and was so affectionate. Sadie was an absolute angel!!"
