WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org Meet Shaggy— your loyal adventure buddy and all-around good boy. 🐾 Shaggy is a 2–3 year old Wirehaired Pointing Griffon mix weighing in at about 50 pounds of pure friendliness. With his scruffy good looks and warm, expressive eyes, he’s the kind of dog who turns heads—and then wins hearts the moment you meet him. This easygoing guy gets along beautifully with just about everyone. Dogs, cats, chickens, even baby goats—Shaggy handles them all like a seasoned diplomat. He’s social, respectful, and seems to instinctively understand how to behave around different animals. When it comes to people, Shaggy is just as wonderful. He loves human company and greets everyone with a friendly, wagging tail. Whether you’re heading out for a walk, relaxing at home, or spending time outdoors, he’s happy to be by your side. His medium energy level makes him a great match for an active family without being overwhelming—he enjoys exercise but also knows how to settle down and relax. Shaggy is well-behaved, adaptable, and eager to please, making him an easy addition to many types of homes. Story
Rio is a distinguished gentleman. He’s a 5 year, neutered, Wirehaired Pointing Griffon. He’s pretty neutral to other dogs in public with a little space, but will need more work on this. I provide free training support to get him settled and continue his progress. He may be able to have some dog pals in the future with enough work, & possibly can be acclimated to cats due to low prey drive. Rio loves to cuddle but also has a sense of independence, so he’s not clingy. He’s always ready to play! We really think that he’d love a home with children, he’s done fantastic with them coming and going in his pet sitter’s house. Rio is very smart and is a quick learner. He comes with free training support, obedience and tricks. He knows that people count on him for unconditional love and laugher. Will you be his new family?
