Current Location: Strasburg, VA Date of birth: 10/6/25 Estimated adult weight: 45-50 lbs Hello, my name is Marble! I'm male, thought to be a pointer mix and am part of a litter of 12, yes, 12 puppies! I've just been weaned from mom and I'm learning to be a big boy puppy by eating on my own, using the pee pads and wrestling with my brothers and sisters. Oh yeah, and giving my foster mom and dad lots of puppy kisses. I'm microchipped and have had age appropriate vaccines, preventatives and dewormings. I’m looking for my forever family - is that with you? If so please click “apply for adoption” or submit an application through the Adopt tab. I'm available to go home with my new family starting on 12/1 and I can't wait to have a home of my own!

Current Location: Strasburg, VA Hello, my name is Dottie! I'm thought to be a Pointer mix, about 2 years old and currently weigh about 40 pounds. I'm a submissive gal with a sweet temperament and do very well with the people and dogs I've met. I love, love, love to snuggle and like nothing better than to sit next to my people and get lots of attention and hugs. I'm also house trained and walk well on the leash. I just weaned my litter of pups and will be spayed on 12/1. I'm heartworm positive and will receive treatment on 12/15 and can go home with my new family in time to celebrate the new year. I am microchipped, current on my vaccines and monthly preventives, and will be spayed and have received heartworm treatment prior to adoption. This dog tested positive for heartworm disease before arriving to the rescue. Heartworm disease is transmitted to a dog through a bite from an infected mosquito producing a positive test in six months. OPH will treat the dog and provide two weeks of recovery time prior to adoption. Potential adopters will receive detailed information on the disease and their role in completing the recovery process from OPH’s heartworm coordinator. With monthly preventatives, the disease is completely preventable.
