Story
The original owner went away and loved and was devoted to her. She is a very loyal dog and loves people. I think because of the way the owner left she does have some seperation anxiety. She does need a yard to run and play and she does need attention. She is 5 years old. She was with her owner the first 4 years but then the last year she has been with me but now i'm downsizing and would like to find her forever.

Story
Remington will be 4 years old in July of 2024. We rescued him a year ago, we did not realize the time commitment that a gsp requires & its been challenging keeping him entertained with such busy schedules. Although we love him, we feel it’s for the best to try to find him a new home. He gets along with our 10 year old female Labrador but does not get along with any other dogsHe is housetrained, doggy door stays open all day when we’re out never potty’s inside, does not chew on anything he shouldn’t but given the opportunity he steals food, keeping the kitchen counters clean is a MUST. He has gotten along with every single adult he‘s come across, extremely friendly with children. Great dog on a leash but he gets very defensive when other dogs come close, possibility he was attacked when he was younger that has made him behave this way with other dogs. I live in a neighborhood where people always walk their dogs, I simply keep distance by having a no pull leash & no issues

Story
Meet Velvet, a resilient and spirited doggo who has overcome incredible odds. Velvet was found as a stray and taken to the local shelter. Velvet has faced a significant challenge being paralyzed. But guess what? It didn't let that slow her down for a second! Her journey from paralysis to walking has been nothing short of a miracle. Velvet has turned her setbacks into stepping stones. She's become a testament to resilience and enjoys life to the fullest, whether it's playing with her friends, chasing the ball or cuddling with her hooman. Velvet has come from no use of her legs to taking walks around the neighborhood. She is potty trained but since she is still ongoing therapy, sometimes she can't make it outside in time. She is good with other dogs, humans and children. She would do best in a home without cats because she wants to play with everyone...including the cats. Life is a beautiful walk, and Velvet is strutting through it with style. Ready to join her? This pet is part of our program called 'The Lonely Hearts Club.' We created this program to highlight animals that are sponsored by a donor. By removing the adoption fee, we hope these wonderful pets will have a better chance of finding their forever homes.
