Story
Meet Lovely Lucy, female 1 year old Short Hair Pointer Lab mix which makes her very loyal, sweet and friendly.  She is spayed, heartworm free, all shots done, including rattlesnake and has 6 months supply of flea and tick meds. She was abandoned in my neighborhood and may have had a tussle with another animal as her knee was strained, but she is on the road to health and can run, run, run! She also sits, stays, has learned to jump over posts, and hopped right into the tub for her bath. She is learning to not pull on a leash and getting better everyday.  She enjoys sitting on a porch with the water hose running around her while she laps up the water. She is not aggressive, loves all ages, all people, dogs and cats. She needs a big yard to play with her favorite toys and plenty of love because she deserves it.  She weighs 70 pounds.Lucy is in obedience training and is doing great!!!! Story
BASICS Housetrained 90% good with dogs, good with cats, unsure if good with kids Details on leash training, crate training and other training commands known - leash is good, crate is largely good, whines occasionally, knows sit and down Details on personal history, if known (how did he/she arrive at the shelter) - found crossing the street approaching people for help, no chip, two collars with no tags and very underfed Dog's or Cat's Characteristics Specific behavior examples/experiences that illustrate their qualities are a big help! 1. Describe cuddling behavior/affection level - super goofy and sweet, loves cuddling and pets, wants to be around people all the time 2. Describe play behavior and favorite toys - very playful, playing chase with other dogs, learning tug of war and likes chewing on squeaky toys 3. Describe activity level - highly active, we try to tire him out with play before nighttime 4. What are the best adjectives to describe the dog or cat? - goofy, uncoordinated, friendly, loving 5. What does the dog or cat specifically DO that exemplifies those adjectives (ex. Maybe a good adjective for the dog is "loving". You know that because he lays his head in your lap.) likes being around people, lays head on lap, loves to play, is super curious about everything, very food motivated 6. What is the dog's/cat's best qualities? his curiosity, sweet disposition, very silly and makes goofy noises 7. What are your favorite things about this dog/cat? Cute behaviors? he’s so loving and loves to play with his people and animal friends, he sometimes gets so excited to see you or play that he will fall over and get tripped up over his own feet 8. What is/are your favorite physical characteristic(s) of this dog/cat? the spots on his ears and his adorable overbite! 9. What would the ideal home look like for this dog/cat? someone patient with high energy dogs, who can go on lots of walks and play time with him and also love to snuggle! he’s ok with cats that like dogs and great with other dogs, but sometimes doesn’t know his own size so not sure how small dogs would feel about him. while i think he’d do ok with kids, he does jump sometimes. 10. Anything else that would make this dog/cat stand out to an adopter? he’s learning so quickly! commands, potty training, kennel. he’s smarter than you think. Medical/Behavior Issue 1. Any medical issues? n/a, just an adorable overbite that causes some drool 2. Any behavior issues? working on kennel and potty training

Story
Minti is playful with other pups and affectionate with her humans. She is a little shy at first, but will approach on her own pace once she knows she's receiving pets or treats! Minti is a medium energy pup, crate and potty trained, and non-destructive. Minti is not territorial and sits patiently with the other pups in her foster home as treats are distributed. Minti loves yummy chewing snacks, knows "sit", and will come when her name is called, as long as there are no squirrels or bunnies around. She has a high-prey drive and is not fond of cats. Minti would thrive in a home with part-time human companionship, and would love a pup-sibling. She is a bit of a puller on the leash, because she loves to explore the world. But she also loves resting next to you while you read or relax. Sweet Minti is a diamond in the ruff!

Story
When I was born, I assure you I didn't want to grow up to be left in a high kill shelter, however, that is what happened to me. LUCKILY, the fates (and some awesome rescue folks) aligned and saved me from certain death and brought me to a safe place where I can find a REAL family and a REAL home. Let me tell you about myself, I am cute, happy, loving, nervous at times, but have the long legs of a pointer! I have lots of energy for running, jumping and playing and I have the handsome chiseled jaw that most actors would love to have! Now if you need a great looking chap, look my way!!! ADOPT...........DON'T SHOP!!! My LIFE depends on it!!! Local adoption fee is $300(in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $550 (includes transport to your area)

Story
Meet Mary Ann and Ginger, an adorable bonded pair of medium-sized rescue dogs who are searching for their forever home. These super cute girls have spent their entire lives on their own until they were recently rescued. Despite their rough beginnings, Mary Ann and Ginger are incredibly sweet and are now learning to enjoy the comforts of a loving home. Both Mary Ann and Ginger get along wonderfully with other dogs, though they haven't had the chance to meet any cats yet. They need a patient adopter who will give them the time and space they need to adjust to their new surroundings and discover the joys of being cherished pets. Ginger, who bravely underwent heartworm treatment, is now healthy and heartworm negative. Both dogs are fully vetted, spayed, microchipped, and on preventatives. They even tolerate baths and absolutely love being petted. Currently, Mary Ann and Ginger are being fostered in Seguin, TX, where they are receiving the care and love they deserve. If you have a kind heart and a gentle hand, these two sweethearts will surely reward you with endless affection and loyalty. Adopt Mary Ann and Ginger and give them the loving home they've always dreamed of.
