Wirehaired Pointing Griffon puppies and dogs in Bellingham, Washington

Meet Nellie! 💕🐾 Nellie is a sweet, affectionate girl with a big personality and an even bigger heart. She absolutely loves people and has a way of turning just about everyone she meets into a new friend. She may give a little bark when someone approaches, but once she realizes they’re there to say hello, she’s all about the pets and attention. Nellie would be a wonderful match for an active person or family who enjoys being outside. She has plenty of energy, strong athletic legs, and would likely make an amazing walking, hiking, or even running buddy. She’s still working on her leash manners, but she’s already showing that she can stay close and listen with some guidance. She’s also incredibly food-motivated, which makes training with her both fun and rewarding. In just a couple of weeks with her foster, Nellie has already made huge progress with crate training. She now settles much more calmly and will even choose to go lie in her crate on her own during the day. Nellie can be a little unsure about certain new experiences, especially things like the bath hose, but with patience, encouragement, and a little coaxing, she continues to improve. She’s the kind of dog who just needs someone willing to show her that the world is a safe and exciting place. After spending some time without the exercise and attention she deserved, Nellie is more than ready for her fresh start. She’s loving, playful, active, eager to learn, and full of potential. All she needs now is a family who will give her the adventure, consistency, and love she’s been waiting for. 💗 Could Nellie be your new best friend? Luna Goofy Buttercup knows how to make a little affection go a long way. It doesn't take long at all for this girl to become your bestie. A little sweet talk, some ear scratches, and soon this sweet girl is diving head first into belly rub position at your feet. Once you're there get ready- her comes her goofy side! Go watch Luna on YouTube to meet the sweet girl behind the belly rubs and catch a little of the personality her foster gets to enjoy every day. Copy and past this link into your browser. https://youtu.be/0-XulT6ASBw Luna is estimated to be a year old, and we believe she’s a Pointer mix, though her age and breed are our best guesses. She’s fostered in a loving home with an older woman and has been gentle and sweet with her. That everyday connection is a lovely glimpse of Luna -a young dog learning about home life and doggie manners from her foster and making it look easy. Luna's foster shares that she is house and crate trained and a good passenger in the car. A little boost getting in, with some sweet talk for encouragement, gets her on her way. Then she’s happy to come along for the ride. Luna does not live with other dogs in her foster home which helps us understand that despite enjoying a game of chase with a doggie friend, she could be perfectly happy as your only dog. She enjoys the company of her people and loves having a spot beside you all her own. If she joins a home with another dog, her best match would be a gentle companion over 25 pounds who enjoys a comfortable pace and gives her room to get acquainted. Thoughtful introductions will help their friendship get off to a good start. A home with a yard would suit Luna beautifully, giving her a familiar place to explore, stretch her legs, and enjoy time with her people. She has a medium energy level, a goofy streak, and a possible interest in splashing around. Her curiosity about the small backyard pool has us wondering whether water play might become one of her favorite hobbies. Luna’s sweetest qualities are already shining in her foster home. She’s gentle with her person, generous with her affection, and awfully cute when she decides it’s love-time. She’s ready for a family who will enjoy getting to know her and give her plenty of reasons to feel at home. Apply to adopt Luna today! Meet Espresso Bean Good things take time to brew, and Espresso is proof of that. This 5-month-old Pointer/Labrador Retriever mix is one of the four adorable pups from the "Café" litter, and he's exactly the kind of dog who reveals himself in the best way. He's dressed in a beautiful white coat covered in the cutest tan details: a striking patch around his right eye, little cow-like spots scattered across his back, and a dipped tail that ties his whole one-of-a-kind look together. When Espresso first arrived, he was the more reserved and thoughtful one of the Café puppies. While some of his siblings dove headfirst into the middle of everything, Espresso liked to take it all in first, quietly sniffing around and giving himself a little time to decide that everything was okay. That gentle, observant nature is still part of who he is, but he has blossomed so much since then, and the playful, affectionate puppy underneath has come out in a big way. Espresso grew up alongside his three Café Litter siblings, giving him wonderful early socialization with other young puppies. Since being at the rescue, he has truly come out of his shell with other dogs, and they bring out his very best. He comes most alive in the company of his canine friends, where he's respectful, attentive, and affectionate. He would thrive in a household with other dogs, and he also does well with cats, making him a great fit for a busy, animal-loving home. The team at Three Little Pitties Rescue is rooting for this puppy. Espresso has wowed us with his openness, thoughtful nature, affection, and respectful play at such a young age. Like any puppy his age, Espresso is still early in his training journey. His forever family should be ready to continue working on potty training, crate training, leash skills, basic commands, and positive socialization with patience and consistency as he grows. Espresso is thoughtful, inquisitive, affectionate, and oh-so-sweet. Give this handsome spotted boy a loving home, and he'll happily show you just how much puppy love he's been brewing. https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/6a8df38e90889e1d800adb0c Questions?
