Story
Don't have housing for Benji, he is in boarding. He needs to meet all family members and pets because he doesnt like some people and pets. But he can get over it with patience. With his family he is snuggly, playful, friendly, adorable, fun, and a great travel companion. Have to rehome due to moving in with family member who has cancer and allergic to dogs. His previous family had two older kids 10 and 13 years old and a Border Collie. He did not like male in the family, but took a couple weeks of working with him and they became best friends. Benji does bark at strangers near home, he will indicate with growl if he doesnt like a person or pet. He needs to be fed meals in a cage to keep pets and people away from his food. But other than that, he loves treats and toys and enjoys life. We love him dearly, hate that we have to part with him, and want him to go to a loving home.

Story
Meet Harley! 🐾 Harley is a sweet male Chihuahua mix who is looking for a fresh start. After spending about a year in a home, he was recently returned to our care through no fault of his own. While change can be hard, Harley is adjusting and ready to find a forever family who will give him the stability and love he deserves. Harley has already experienced life in a home, which means he’s familiar with being part of a family. Chihuahua mixes are known for forming strong bonds with their people, and Harley is no exception — he thrives on companionship and enjoys being close to those he trusts. He would do best in a patient, understanding home that will give him time to settle in and feel secure again. With consistency, love, and a little reassurance, Harley will blossom into a loyal and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a small dog with a big heart who’s ready to be someone’s best friend for good, Harley may be the perfect match for you. Come meet him and give this deserving boy the forever home he’s been waiting for. 💙🐶 If you are my furever home, come visit me at Valley Animal Center's dog adoption center.
