Nemo is a great companion! He was my Dad's dog till he passed away and he has been with my mom since then. She is no longer able to care for him due to her own health issues. He was put in an intensive 3 week training program a few years back but does need someone who will be consistent in working with him. While he does like to bark, with the right person he can be trained not to be a reactive barker. He has no issues with leash walking and is even great with someone on a walker. He loves to chase a red laser light and play with all sorts of toys and balls. Car rides are tolerated and best if he is in the backseat in a secured booster. He has had 5 seizures in his lifetime and is on a daily dose of phenobarbital for maintenance. He likes his routines and will let you know when it is time for his nightly greenie and chew stick. He is house trained and will use a pee pad if you are not able to take him outside. He is used to his human being around a good portion of the day.
