Looks like: Chihuahua mix Male, 13 years old (estimated), 16 pounds Yeahhhh Buddy! Pauly D is looking for someone to live in the moment with him. Born with an enlarged heart that occasionally plays remix's of its own, his wish is for a home that understands his medical prognosis while celebrating each and every day he has with him. This brave boy has been diagnosed with a heart murmur and enlarged heart, along with a variety of other ailments. If giving a pup with medical needs a second chance is your calling, then look no further, Pauly D is your boy. Pauly D joined POMDR from Ventura County Animal Services to help alleviate the overcrowding at the shelter.

Don't let his "senior" label fool you, this boy still has plenty of pep in his step! He may be a distinguished treat, but he's far from crumbly. Chocolate Chunk loves getting out for walks and would thrive in an active home where he can stretch his legs, feel the breeze, and be included in daily adventures. He's the kind of pup who's happiest when he's part of the mix, a true family recipe essential. Chocolate Chunk is wonderfully easygoing. He has that calm, steady presence that makes you instantly relax. Whether you're heading out for a stroll, hanging out in the yard, or winding down at the end of the day, he's content just being by your side. Even sweeter? He's great with other dogs! He blends beautifully into a pack. His friendly, gentle nature makes him an easy addition to just about any home. Chunk joined us after he landed at Contra Costa Animal Services as a stray. Due to the shelter's full status and his senior age, he was the perfect addition to the POMDR pack!
