AVAILABLE Petey is a tiny little love who is looking for a permanent position as a lap dog. He is also looking for an adult home as he hasn't lived with children. He grew up with another senior Chihuahua and cats. He just wants to be wrapped in a blanket or a sweater and held a lot. He is pee pad trained. Petey is a Chihuahua, 7 pounds, neutered, microchipped, and up to date on vaccinations. If you are home often and want your companion with you where you sit, and think you have the perfect home for Petey, please email citizensanimalrescue@gmail.com for an application. A pre-approved application is required. Once your application is approved, we will set up an appointment for you to meet this little guy. If you have any questions please contact 217-799-8858 or 217-655-4353. Always allow time for decompression with a new pet in a new home, and in time it becomes their new normal. Petey's world has been turned upside down with his owner going into assisted living, shelter life, and everything he knew changing. He needs to feel lots of love and learn he is safe.
