This chunky girl was presented to a local vet's office to be euthanized. The owner would not give a reason, only that she didn't want her anymore. They reached out to TAPS and we said yes. She seems reserved and non-reactive right now but she seems a bit overwhelmed by it all, but she has never once offered to bite. We'll share more as we get to know her personality.

Pigeon has had a rough life and it shows. He originally came from a property with over 70 dogs. Pigeon "Rocky" is now in a foster home and he feels right at home and comfortable he's like a different dog in a loving home. He does well with large and small dogs he will sometimes growl if he has a toy he likes, but he is a chihuahua which is their personalities. He is potty trained has had no accidents at all. He is a 9 year old senior weighs 20lbs, but he is still very active and likes to play with toys. He likes to give the sweetest kisses and loves attention.

Say hello to Tinsley, She is a 11 year old Chihuahua mix That came into rescue last November It has been in Foster since. she was very skinny and had a low iron and an UTI that we took care of. Our veterinarians feel this is because of malnutrition as she has not had any problems now that she is an appropriate weight. She eats really well with her hard food with a little water on it. She has really come out of her shell and loves to play with toys, lay out in the yard even on these hot days and roll around on her back. She absolutely loves to go for walks and her new favorite is golf cart rides. She travels great in the car, loves to go. Tensley is not fond of other dogs, so she is looking to be the only dog, cats are fine. This is not to be taken lightly as she will go after other dogs if given the opportunity and with few teeth and her small statue that is not safe for her at all. She absolutely loves to meet new people. She loves her kennel and will often be found In her kennel and will sleep in there for hours during the day she is not kenneled for any reason as she is house trained and is not destructive. She will use potty pads if needed when left for longer periods of time however in her Foster home she does have use of a doggy door to a fenced in yard. She is a happy fun girl that is uncomplicated to be around. Get your application in as this girl is ready for her forever home.
