Doran is a 5-year-old Chinese Crested/Terrier mix who was sadly left behind by his previous people… but don’t worry, he’s handled it like the brave little champ he is. He’s learned that humans can actually be pretty great, especially the kind who give him a little time and a lot of patience. Once you’re in his trust circle? You’re in for life. This funny, quirky guy loves hanging out with other dogs and can often be found running around playing tag with his foster buddies like it’s recess. When he’s not zooming, he’s perfecting his sun-lounging skills, popping in and out of the doggy door like he owns the place, or chasing squirrels who absolutely started it. You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Rose was saved from the streets of Laredo.  She was being fostered by a good Samaritan who tried to socialize her, but had trouble getting her out of the closet.  She has acclimated really well to our program, loves being outside during the day with the other dogs.  Comes in at night and goes to her kennel to sleep.  She appears to be housebroken. She wants to be people friendly, but she had to warm up to you first.  I suspect she has been traumatized while she was on the streets.  The good sam said the neighbors were chasing her away and throwing rocks at her.  She is starting to realize not all humans are mean.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.August 6, 2025, 2:44 pm
