I also get along great with cats and kids. I am crate trained and do just fine in there for when you leave for your normal work day. I am still working on my house training, but am very close to perfecting that. I am a little adventurer at heart and do really well on a leash. I love to explore parks and go for hikes in the woods or just take a leisurely walk through the neighborhood. I have alot of energy, so an active family would be best for me. My idea of a perfect day is curling up on a soft blanket with my humans and snuggling and then lavishing them with kisses. My foster mom says my love for cuddling is legendary. I think that means that I really, really like to snuggle. I also like to talk - ALOT. So, a home with shared walls is not ideal for me. I cannot wait to find my forever family who will provide me all the love and cuddles I deserve! Are you the type of person that likes to give sweet older pups a chance they might otherwise not get? Sweetie loves attention and will happily help you out by guarding the door of the bathroom from the inside. However, she can also be quite the independent little lady and doesn’t need to be a velcro dog… unless you want her to be! Sweetie can be a little bossy with her dog friends (part of why we think she’s mixed with chihuahua!) but generally gets along well with everyone. Sweetie is a beauty but would benefit from a little tough love when it comes to feeding and giving out treats and a little more activity in her day. A physically fenced yard is required. Sweetie is available for adoption in Ohio to residents of Ohio. Davey is literally the sweetest and very very smart. Once he recognizes that you are his caregiver, he will give you all the love in the world. His favorite things to do are cuddle and eat treats…and maybe even your dinner. When meeting new people, I always make sure to have them stand still so that he can smell their feet (otherwise he will just bark). After that, he is everyone’s best friend!
