Story
Meet Vinny, a tiny Chihuahua with big ears, a big heart, and a serious talent for snuggling. Vinny is a sweet, sensitive little guy who loves nothing more than burrowing under a blanket, tucking his nose next to you, and settling in with his favorite stuffed toys or a good chew. Vinny can be nervous around big or noisy things, but his confidence is building each day. He does best in a calm, predictable home where people move slowly and respectfully. He’s especially fond of gentle, patient humans who let him come to them and enjoy quiet affection. He’s crate trained and does wonderfully with it, happily going in for treats when his people leave and resting comfortably for several hours. Vinny has met other small dogs and has done well, playing politely outside and mostly coexisting. Vinny will thrive in an adult-only or low-activity home that’s comfortable with managing clear routines and continued support -- Vinny is a loving, loyal companion who just wants to feel safe and adored. If you’re looking for a devoted little shadow who loves cozy cuddles, quiet companionship, and being someone’s special guy, Vinny may be the perfect match.

Story
Meet Raul, an independent and spirited pup ready to find his forever home! Raul is currently living in a foster home and is looking for a family that understands his unique needs and can provide him with the love and attention he deserves. Raul does well with other dogs while out on walks, but his ideal home would not have resident dogs. He has a strong chase instinct with cats, so a cat-free household would be best for him. In his current foster home, Raul shares his space with two female cats, but they do not interact closely due to his tendency to lunge and bark. When it comes to being alone, Raul is quite content in a gated area or free-roaming for short periods. He's house-trained and hasn't shown any issues in that regard. While Raul is a loving companion, he can be a bit particular about being handled or picked up. Sometimes he enjoys being pet, but other times he may growl and snap. It's important to approach him with patience and respect for his boundaries. Raul has made progress in his behavior and no longer exhibits food guarding with humans. However, he still displays this behavior with the resident cats, so it's essential to feed him separately. If you're looking for an independent and spirited companion who thrives in a cat-free environment, Raul could be the perfect match for you. With the right understanding and care, Raul is sure to blossom into a loyal and loving member of your family. Don't miss out on the chance to give Raul the forever home he's been waiting for!

Story
Hi, I’m Sarafina 💗 I’m a sweet, sensitive girl with a big heart and lots of love to give. New places and situations can feel scary at first, but once I start to feel safe, my playful and affectionate personality really shines. I do well with other dogs and enjoy their company, especially when it’s time to play and get some energy out. I’m very friendly and get excited when meeting new people. I’ve been around kids and can play a bit enthusiastically once I’m comfortable, so older or dog-savvy children would be a great fit for me. Being alone is something I’m still getting braver on. I feel most secure when my people are nearby, and I do best in a home where someone is around most of the time. A house would suit me better than an apartment so I can fully relax. I’m also on a special diet to support my urinary health and do best with a calm, predictable routine that helps me stay comfortable and confident. I may take a little time to settle in, but once I do, I form deep bonds and love with my whole heart. If you have a patient, understanding home and are looking for a loyal companion who will truly adore you, I would love to meet you.
