Meet Sara! We actually call her Sister Sara… when she was a little puppy, her markings on her face made it look like she had a perfect cross right between her eyes and down her nose. Sara is up for adoption because her 92-year old human momma recently passed away. Sara is 8 years old and weighs just under 8 pounds. She’s super shy at first but once she warms up to you, she’s all play and cuddles. She has some typical chihuahua traits of shaking and barking when she’s scared and can be a bit nippy if her boundaries aren’t respected. That’s why we don’t recommend her for a home with small /young children. She would thrive in a more active home, with or without another doggie. She has lived with a cat and does well with that. She is spayed and current on all her vaccines, as well as flea & tick and heart worm prevention.

This adorable pup is undergoing Parvo treatment through APA! and is expected to make a full recovery. They are not quite out of the woods yet and will need a few more days to complete treatment before leaving the Parvo ward; but that doesn’t mean they can’t start getting the word out that they need an adopter lined up for when they are ready to leave! Chronic is a little sweetie. He loves to cuddle and play. He has been with his sister and literate since birth we got both of them together. They came as a gift to myself and my mother in law for Mother’s Day in 2024. Chronic just turned 2. He has had shots, however, he is due again shortly. I am a full time student, mom of two boys, a teenager who has autism and a wild 2 year old. My mother in law in disabled and I care full time for her on top of 4 dogs, including chronic. I wish I had more time for him, and if possible I would rehome all of them. But chronic is the only one that belongs to me. Please help me give my baby a better life, he deserves much more than I’m able to give him.
