Meet "Louie"! Louie is a Yorkie Poodle mix, he is 1 to 1 1/2 years old and he weighs 7 pounds. Louie was neglected for several months. It is so sad knowing that because he is such a nice little dog. He is just a bundle of joy. In the short time we have had him, he already put on a pound! Louie never went to a veterinarian. Well, we took care of that! Louie got neutered, he got all his shots, he got heartworm tested and was negative and he got microchipped. Being the great dog he is, he does, however , need a little more help with "potty" training. You MUST own your own home. Absolutely no condos. Absolutely no apartments. In Louie's new home, children must be 6 years old or older. To adopt from us, you MUST have a veterinarian reference. We will not place any animal without a veterinarian reference. We get a veterinarian reference from your veterinarian which is a history of medical care administered by your veterinarian to your present or previous pet or pets. Please do not contact us if you cannot abide by our adoption rules. The adoption fee for Louie is $400.00 and he is worth every penny! No credit cards. You can meet Louie on Saturday at Petco located at 201 Union Street in Waterbury during our adoption hours from 12:00 to 3:00. IT IS IMPORTANT THAT WE STRESS THAT IN ORDER TO ADOPT FROM US, YOU MUST HAVE A VETERINARIAN REFERENCE...NO EXCEPTIONS!
